ಯಲಹಂಕ ಮಿನಿ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿ , ಭಾರತ ರತ್ನ , ಬಾಬಾಸಾಹೇಬ್ ” ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ” ರವರ 14 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಲೋಹದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ 160 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಮಂಜೂರಾತಿ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿರುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ . ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ , ಯಲಹಂಕ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು , ಯಲಹಂಕ ಹೋಬಳಿ , ಯಲಹಂಕ ಮಿನಿ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿ , ಭಾರತ ರತ್ನ , ವಿಶ್ವಚೇತನ ಬಾಬಾ ಸಾಹೇಬ್ ” ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ” ರವರ 14 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಲೋಹದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ 160 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಮಂಜೂರಾತಿ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ , ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ರವರು , ಹಾಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ.ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ರವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ.ಕೋಟಾ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ರವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಯಲಹಂಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ.ಎಸ್.ಆರ್.ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ರವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ವರ್ಗದವರಿಗೆ ಸಮಿತಿವತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೃದಯ ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ .

ಯಲಹಂಕ ಮಿನಿ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ರವರ 14 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಲೋಹದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮೇಲ್ಕಂಡ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಹಳ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು . ಈ ಕುರಿತು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು . ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಯಲಹಂಕ ಮಿನಿ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ರವರ 14 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಲೋಹದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ 160 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಂಜೂರಾತಿ ಆದೇಶ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ : ಸಕಇ.121.ಎಸ್ . ಎಲ್.ಪಿ .2020 , ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು , ದಿನಾಂಕ : 11-03-2022 ರಂತೆ ಆದೇಶ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ದ.ಸಂ.ಸ ಸಮತಾವಾದ ) ಸಮಿತಿಗೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಡೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ದಲಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಿಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ .

ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ” ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ ” ಯನ್ನು ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸವ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ನಾವೂ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಬಲಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸಿಗರು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಹೀಗ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಾಯಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ತನ್ದಿರ್ ಸೇರ್ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿತ್ತಿರುವುದು ” ಕರೋನ ವೈರಸ್‌ಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಾಹಾಮಾರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳ ಭಾರತದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಿಂದುಗಳ ಬಾವನೆಗೆ ತೀವ್ರ ನೋವುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ . ತನ್ದಿರ್ ಸೇಠ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳಬೇಕು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಸಿ ಬಳಿಯುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತೆವೆ ಅವರು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪ್ಪು ಬಾವುಟ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ .

ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಉರಿಅಂಗ ಪೆದ್ದಿಮಠದ ಜ್ಞಾನಪ್ರಕಾಶ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜೀ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಇಸ್ಲಾನ್ ನೀಡಿದ 1000 ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನಿಷ್ಠ ಎಂದು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾದ್ಯಮ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೆರಳಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಇದರಿಂದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಹಿಂದು ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಜೀ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದು ಧರ್ಮದ ಸಂಪ್ರಾದಾಯದಂತೆ ಕಾವಿ ಧರಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಪರಿಜ್ಞಾನವಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ನಡೆದು ಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಕಾವಿ ದರಿಸಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯರಲ್ಲದ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಕಾಪಿ ಕಳಚಲ ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಹಿಂದುಗಳು ಕಳಚಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾರೆ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಹಿಂದು ಧರ್ಮದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ವಿಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೆರೆದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಂತಹವರನ್ನು ಕಾನುನಾಥ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಲ , ಹೀಗೆ ಹಿಂದುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪದೆ ಪದೆ ನೋವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವುದು , ಅವಹೇಳನ ಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡುವುದು , ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಡುವುದು , ಮಾಡುವುದಾದರೆ ನಾವುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೇವೆ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಒತ್ತಡ ಇದ್ದರು ವೀರೋಧವಿದ್ದರು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಇದನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಬಾರದು ಪಾಶ್ಚಿಮಾತ್ಯ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುವಾ ಗೌರವ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಗೀತೋಪದೇಶ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಭಾರತದ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ತೀವ್ರ ನೋವಿನ ಸಂಗತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ . ಕಾಂಗ್ರೇಸಿಗರು ಇಂತಹ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಗೊಸ್ಕರ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂರನ್ನು ಒಲೈಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃುತಿ ಸಂಪ್ರಾದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಗೌರವ ನೀಡಲ . ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರವಿಲ್ಲದ , ತಿರುಳಲ್ಲದ ಬಾಅಷ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕೊಡುವುದನ್ನು ಈ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ನಿಲ್ಲಸಲ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾರೆ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ , ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ , ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಚಹೇಳನಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಥವ ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆ ಆದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಹವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪಾಠ ಕಅಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅವರು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು . ಈ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತಾನಾಡುವಾಗ ಎಚ್ಚರವಿರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಅಮ್ಮನಹಟ್ಟಿ ಹರೀಶ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಯಾದವ ಯುವ ಸೇವ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

BSF Seema Bhawani Shaurya Expedition “Empowerment Ride – 2022” cavalcade reaches Bangalore on their Royal Enfield Classic 350

Bangalore, March 23, 2022: BSF Seema Bhawani team reached Bangalore yesterday in their remarkable attempt to travel the 5280 kms on the Royal Enfield Classic 350. Organized in association with Royal Enfield, the Seema Bhawani Shaurya Expedition “Empowerment Ride – 2022” was flagged off on 8th March from India Gate, New Delhi and the riders traveled over 560kms to reach Bangalore from Hyderabad via Anantapur on the 22nd of March.

Flagged off on the occasion of International Women’s Day, 2022, the expedition is an attempt to bring forth an awareness about the capabilities of women while emphasizing on freedom from bias, stereotypes and discrimination. The BSF Seema Bhawani Shaurya Expedition “Empowerment Ride – 2022” also celebrates women’s achievements and aims to forge positive visibility of women, so as to encourage young girls and women across the country in stepping up for taking on major roles in shaping the future of the nation.

Located on the Deccan Plateau, Bangalore is the capital city of Karnataka. Known as the Silicon Valley of India, it is the hub for India’s Information Technology (IT) sector and a popular choice for the start-up ecosystem, making it stand out for being one of the top most preferred entrepreneurial locations in the world. It is loved for its pleasant weather, beautiful parks and varied eateries across the city. The expedition cavalcade has traveled over 3700kms and crossed over 14 cities so far to reach Bangalore in their extraordinary journey on the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The route for this expedition has been carefully identified and selected keeping in mind the significance of the city in the region and the role it plays in BSF and Royal Enfield’s mission to support women empowerment.

The contingent will leave Bangalore and reach Kanyakumari via Salem and then Maduria covering over 680kms in their journey. The expedition then will then traverse through major cities such as Salem, Madurai, and Kanyakumari before reaching its final destination in Chennai on 28 March 2022.

ಒಳ ಚರಂಡಿ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಚತಾ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ಸಹಾಯಕರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವದ ಅಂಗು ತೊರೆದು ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಹೋಲ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವಾಗ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಮಲ – ಮೂತ್ರ ಶುಚಿತ್ವ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು , ಈ ಕೆಲಸವು ತುಂಬಾ ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾದ ಕೆಲಸವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ . ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಕೈಬೆರಳುಗಳು ತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಯಾಗದಂತಹ ಚರ್ಮರೋಗವು ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ . ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ 10 ಮಹಾನಗರಪಾಲಿಕೆಗಳ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ ಚರಂಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು 1 ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 5-6 ಜನ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಆದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಯು.ಜಿ.ಡಿ. ಹೆಲ್ಸರ್‌ಗಳೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಖಾಯಂ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪೌರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಲವು ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ನಾವು ವಂಚಿತರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ .

Embrace children with Down Syndrome, create suitable jobs, and enable them to lead a dignified life, say panelists at Neuberg Diagnostics

Tuesday, March 22, 2022: Neuberg Diagnostics, one of the top four Pathlabs chains of Indian origin, conducted an awareness session for parents and caregivers of special needs children. The company brought together the national specialists and experts who shared insights on this genetic disorder that is probably the most common genetic cause of developmental delay and intellectual disability. One of the parents shared the journey that she and her family had with their special child and encouraged other parents to join communities and support each other.

Primary care physicians discussed about this genetic disorder, its complications, the need of regular systematic checkups, early medical intervention, and the role of healthcare providers. They highlighted the challenges related to the inclusiveness of these special children and shared how awareness and collective efforts can empower these children to join the mainstream workforce.

Dr. Shubha Phadke, MD (Pediatrics) & Professor and head of the department Medical Genetics, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, informed that approximately 21400 children with Down Syndrome; 9000 with beta-thalassemia, and 5200 with sickle cell disease are born every year in India. She said, “If the disability is diagnosed at birth, then medical experts often look for medical complications like intellectual disability, heart malformations, trachea-oesophageal fistula, hyperthyroidism, cataracts, atlantoaxial dislocation, and risk of leukemia. And accordingly, counsel parents on therapies and treatments. These newborns need to undergo the regular physical examinations, eye examinations, hearing evaluations, and dental examinations.” Dr. Phadke added that unproven therapies which are rampantly being provided to these children and should not be promoted.

Dr. Jayashree Gopal, Director, DiabEndoIndia, Chennai, said, “We see that 3 in 4 Down Syndrome individuals report thyroid-related issues at adulthood. The most common type of thyroid they report is hyperthyroidism. Therefore, when these children reach the age of 20-21, they should be regularly screened for thyroids, sugar, blood pressure, and metabolic diseases.”
She added, “We have noted the prevalence of obesity and diabetes in later years of Down Syndrome children. Also, they are more prone to early menopause.”

Dr. Sheetal Sharda, Director, Neuberg Centre for Genomic Medicine, during the discussion with experts and delegates concluded that there have been lots of progress in early diagnosis of many genetic disorders and prenatal diagnosis. She said, “We should have a balanced approach and always consider the parents’ decision as regards to their reproductive options. Screening tests like biochemical screening and testing of free fetal DNA in mother’s blood (NIPT) followed by invasive tests can help in the prenatal detection for genetic disorders. But it is totally a personal decision of the parents to take further informed decisions.”

The experts reiterated that as a society, we must embrace these children as an essential part of the society, help create suitable jobs and enable them to lead a dignified life. We should move positively towards a better inclusive society
