Veteran Actress Tara Anuradha Offers Prayers at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt

Bengaluru: Veteran Kannada film actress Smt. Tara Anuradha offered special prayers at the Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Nanjangud branch, located in Jayanagar 5th Block, on Thursday.

The religious programmes were conducted as per the directions of Paramapujya Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Teertha Sripadangalavaru, under the leadership of the senior administrator of the mutt, Sri R.K. Vadindracharya. As part of the Thursday rituals dedicated to Sri Raghavendra Swamy, Panchamrita Abhisheka, Kanakabhisheka, special alankara, Maha Mangalarati, and annadana seva were performed with devotion.

Smt. Tara Anuradha visited the sanctum, offered her prayers, lit the ceremonial lamps, and received the Maha Mangalarati. She also partook in the annasantarpana maha prasada, thereby seeking the blessings of Sri Raghavendra Swamy.

Speaking on the occasion, the temple priest Sri Nandakishoracharya said that the actress was blessed by the grace of Guru Raghavendra through her participation in the religious observances.

On behalf of the mutt, administrator Sri R.K. Vadindracharya honoured Smt. Tara Anuradha with phala, mantrakshate, and presented her with an invitation for the upcoming Guru Raghavendra Swamy Pattabhisheka and Janmotsava celebrations, conveying his blessings.

Faith and Tradition Come Alive at Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Jayanagar

Special prayers, annadanam and cultural offerings were held at the Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, located in Jayanagar Fifth Block, on February 5. The religious programmes were organised under the guidance of Paramapujya Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripadangal, and conducted under the leadership of the mutt’s senior administrator R.K. Vadindracharya.

Morning rituals included Panchamrita Abhisheka, Kanakabhisheka, special alankara and Maha Mangalarati to Sri Raghavendra Swamy, followed by annadanam for devotees.

In the evening, Rathotsava and Gajavahanotsava were held with devotional fervour. Other religious observances such as Ashtavadhana and Tottillu Puja were also performed. As part of the cultural programme, Vidushi Smt. Meenakshi Prasad, along with her disciples from Bhava Noopura Dance School, presented a devotional dance offering.

Collective Sri Satyanarayana Vrata Performed at Raghavendra Swamy Mutt


Bengaluru: A collective Sri Satyanarayana Vrata was performed with devotion on the occasion of Purnima at the Sri Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, located in Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru. The religious event was held under the आदेश and blessings of Paramapujya Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripadangal.

The ceremony was organised under the leadership of senior administrator of the Mutt, R.K. Vadindraacharya. The rituals were conducted in a traditional and methodical manner by priests Sri Nandakishoracharya and Sri Katti Raghavendra Acharya.

As part of the observance, the portrait of Lord Sri Satyanarayana was beautifully decorated with special flowers and lamps, followed by the offering of mangalarati. A large number of devotees participated in the vrata, received prasada, and sought the blessings of Sri Hari, Vayu and Guru.

108 Hayavadana–Ankita Bhajans Mark Vadiraja Gurusarvabhauma Jayanti


Bengaluru: On the occasion of Vadiraja Gurusarvabhauma Jayanti, a devotional programme featuring 108 Hayavadana–ankita compositions was ceremonially inaugurated at the Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamigalu Mutt, located in Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru.

The programme was held under the divine guidance and blessings of His Holiness Parama Pujya Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripadangalavaru. The event commenced with the offering of mangalarati to the portrait of Sri Vadiraja Gurusaarvabhauma, led by Sri R. K. Vadindracharya, Senior Administrator of the Sri Mutt.

The rendition of the 108 Hayavadana–ankita kirtanas was carried out with the active support and cooperation of Sri Sudhindra Bhat, President of the Sri Hayavadana Upanishat Prasarana Parishat. Providing details of the programme, Sri Nandakishora Acharya stated that the devotional service of Sri Hari Bhajana is being performed by six bhajana teams, beginning at 10.00 a.m. and continuing uninterrupted until the completion of all 108 compositions.

The day-long programme witnessed deep devotional fervour, with continuous bhajans offered in reverence to Sri Hari in the sacred presence of Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy.

Rathasaptami–Sapta Utsava Celebrated at Sri Gururayara Mutt

Bengaluru: Rathasaptami and the Sapta Utsava were celebrated with great devotion and grandeur at the Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, located in Jayanagar 5th Block. Under the divine guidance and blessings of His Holiness Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Teertha Sripadangalavaru, and led by senior administrator R.K. Vadindrachar, several sacred rituals were conducted.

The celebrations featured the Silver Rathotsava, Golden Gajavahanotsava, Golden Pallakki Utsava, Golden Cradle Utsava, Golden Throne Utsava, and Kanakabhisheka. Hundreds of devotees participated and received the blessings of Sri Raghavendra Swamy, said Sri Nandakishoracharya.

In the evening, philanthropist and Infosys Foundation Chairperson Mrs. Sudha Narayanamurthy, along with her husband Mr. N.R. Narayanamurthy and daughter Akshata, visited the Mutt. They offered lamps, received Mangalarati, and were blessed with Shesha Vastra, fruits, and Mantrakshata from His Holiness. They appreciated the development and facilities at the Mantralaya Mutt.
