April 17, 2020: In the ongoing fight against Covid-19, health stipulations have mandated two important facets to help protect against the deadly virus – hand hygiene and the hygiene of frequently touched surfaces. ಕೊರೊನ ಅದು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಇಲ್ಲದ ( RNA-RIBO NUCLEIC ACID )ಒಂದು ಪ್ರೋಟಿನ್ ಪದಾರ್ಥ ದ ವೈರಾಣ. ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನ ಪದಾರ್ಥವೊಂದು ಪೊರೆಯಾಗಿ ಏರ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಒಂದು ರೀತಿ ಪೌಡರ್ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೊರೊನಾ ಪದದ ಅರ್ಥ ಕಿರೀಟ ಈ ವೈರಾಣು ನೋಡಲು ಕಿರೀಟದಂತೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈ ಹೆಸರು ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ವೈರಾಣುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಕೊರೊನಾ ವೈರಾಣು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇದು ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ( ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಇದು ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರುವಂತಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಷ್ಟೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಇರುತಿತ್ತು ) ಕೊರೊನಾ ವೈರಾಣು ಬಹುತೇಕ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೊರೊನಾ ನಿರ್ಜೀವ ಕಣ 14 ದಿನ ನಿರ್ಜೀವ ಕಣವಾಗಿಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಜೀವ ಬರಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಜೀವಕೋಶದ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಬೇಕೇ ಬೇಕು.

ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹದ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಮೂಗು, ಬಾಯಿ ನಿರ್ಜೀವ ಕೊರೊನಾಗೆ ಜೀವ ತುಂಬುತ್ತವೆ. ಮೊದಲು ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಾದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಕಿಸಿರು, ಜಿಬರೆ ಅಂತಾ ನಾವು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅದರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಕೊರೊನಾ ಜೀವ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಮತ್ತೆ ಮೂಗು ಸಹಾ ಕಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಕೊರೊನಾದ ಫೇವರೇಟ್ ಸ್ಥಳ. ಮೂಗಿನ ಸಿಂಬಳದ ( ಗೊಣ್ಣೆ ) ಪ್ರೋಟೀನ್ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಗಂಟಲ ಕಫವೇ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಶ್ರಯ ನೀಡುವ ಆ್ಯಕ್ಟೀವ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಟ್ಸ್ಪಾಟ್. ಈ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕೊರೊನಾಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರೂ ಕೆಲವೇ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಕಣಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಭಜನೆಯಾಗಿ ಶ್ವಾಸಕೋಶ ಸೇರಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ ಈ ಮಾರಿ.
ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಇದು ಒಳ ಸೇರಿದರೆ ಶ್ವಾಸಕೋಶದ ರಕ್ತನಾಳಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕ್ರಮಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾಣವಾಯುವನ್ನು ನಿರೋಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ರೋಗಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವಾಯುವು ಲಭಿಸದೆ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇದರಿಂದ “ನೆಗಡಿ” ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕಂಡುಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ರೋಗಿ ಸೀನಿದಾಗ, ಕೆಮ್ಮಿದಾಗ, ಆತನ ಸಿಮ್ಮಳ ಮೂಲಕ, ಕಫ ಮೂಲಕ, ಈ ರೋಗ ಕಣಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲೆಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತವೆ. ನಾವು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇದ್ದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೂ ಬೀಳಬಹುದು. ಇಲ್ಲ ತುಂತುರು ಹನಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದರ ಮೇಲಾದರೂ ಬೀಳಬಹುದು. ಇನ್ನು ಆಯಾ ಪದಾರ್ಥ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳ ಅನುಸಾರ ವಾತಾವರಣದ ತಾಪಮಾನ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಕೊರೊನಾ 4 ಘಂಟೆಯಿಂದ 24 ಘಂಟೆಯವರೆಗೊ ಶಕ್ತಿವಂತವಾಗಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ತಾಪಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನ ಪೊರೆ ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ವೈರಾಣು ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕೊರೊನಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಮದ್ದು ಕಂಡು ಹಿಡಿದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಕೊರೊನಾ ವೈರಾಣುವಿನ ಕೆಲವು ಬಲಹೀನತೆಗಳ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದನ್ನೇ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವು ರಕ್ಷಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೊರೊನಾಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣ ಕವಚ ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನ ಪದಾರ್ಥ. ಈ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಸರ್ವನಾಶ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಸಾಧಾರಣವಾಗಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನ ಪದಾರ್ಥವು ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ಬಿಸಿಲಿಗೆ ಕರಗಿಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ ಅಥವಾ ಸಾಬೂನಿನ ನೊರೆಗೆ ಕರಗುತ್ತದೆ. ( ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದ ಜಿಡ್ಡು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನ ಪದಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತೊಲಗಿಸಲು ಸಾಬೂನು ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುತ್ತೇವೆ )ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೂಡ ಆದೇ ಮದ್ದು. ನಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ತಲೆ ಕೂದಲ ಸಮೇತ ಸುಮಾರು 40 ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಸೆಂಟಿಗ್ರೇಡ್ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೊರೆ ಬರುವ ಸಾಬೂನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ 2 ರಿಂದ 3 ಸಲ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರದ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಈ ಕೊರೊನಾ ವೈರಾಣುವಿನ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನ ಪದಾರ್ಥ ಕರಗಿಹೋಗಿ ಸರ್ವನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ತದನಂತರ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬರಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಶರೀರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದರೆ ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರದ ಭಾಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ರೋಗ ಕಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಅಂಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಲಾಗದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮತ್ತೆ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಇದು ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಾವು ಧರಿಸಿದ ಬಟ್ಟೆ, ಬಳಸಿದ ಕರ್ಚೀಪ್, ಸೇರಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಈ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ಕಣಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕೊಬ್ಬು ಕರಗಿ ಅದರ ಶಕ್ತಿ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
