Mumbai, August 25, 2021: uFaber, among India’s handful bootstrapped and profitable EdTech start-ups delivers hyper-personalized learning solutions for those aged 7 to adults. Today they announced “Utkarsh’, an initiative to benefit UPSC aspirants unable to afford private coaching. Under the initiative, 2 winners from each of 500 colleges/universities who are likely to participate, will receive it’s preparatory course for free. Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi; Gargi college, Delhi; SKN Sinhgad College of Technology & Science, Mumbai; AISSMS Institute of Management – Pune; Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University – Pune & D. Y. Patil College of Engineering – Pune, have already enrolled for the initiative. The interested colleges and institutes will have to send in nominations, by registering on https://ufaber.typeform.com/to/UodPh9fU, by October, 2021. Nominated students will have to appear for an aptitude test followed by group discussion and interview. Top two scorers from each college will win the sponsorship.

SC/ST research scholars of Mysore Varsity to get a grant, thanks to Harshavardhan

*The association of research scholars has thanked Harshavardhan for his understanding of their problem and quickly resolving it.

Nanjangud (Mysuru): MLA B Harshavardhan has been successful in getting research grants for all the Schedule Caste/Tribe research scholars at the University of Mysore. His positive intervention has ensured that the university will release grants for an additional 60 research scholars from various departments.

In all, the university has 80 research scholars belonging to the SC/ST categories. They are spread over 56 departments. At present, only 20 of the 80 research scholars are getting grants. A majority of them are economically weak. The research scholars had requested Harshavardhan to get them grants. He acted quickly and within 72 hours he got an assurance from the authorities concerned to help the research scholars.

Recently, SC/ST students had sought Harshavardhan’s intervention regarding this matter. He immediately acted. He met M P Kumarswamy, Chairman of the SC/ST Committee of the Legislative Assembly, on September 2. In addition, he submitted letters to Social Welfare Minister B Sriramulu, Backward Classes Welfare Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary and the Commissioner, Karnataka State Commission for SCs and STs. He did not stop at that. Because of his follow-up, a team of officials from the Social Welfare Department visited Mysore University’s SC/ST Cell on September 4. The team examined the records regarding the grants and advised the university on the modalities to be followed for sanctioning grants. He asked the university officials why grants meant for SCs/STs had not been utilised. He also took up the matter with the vice chancellor.

Now a formal communication regarding sanctioning of grants to all the research scholars is awaited while in-principal approval has been given. The association of research scholars has thanked Harshavardhan for his understanding of their problem and quickly resolving it.

ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ : 2021-22 ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಂತೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತೋತ್ಸವ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯು 1969 ರಿಂದ ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ಅದರ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಕಪ್ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಗಳು , ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಚಾರ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಗಳು ಮುಂತಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದು , ಅದರ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಒಂದು ವಾರಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ . ಅದರಂತೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ದಿನವನ್ನು ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ : 09.09.2021 ರಂದು ಗುರುವಾರದಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 11.00 ಘಂಟೆಗೆ ಗಾಯನ ಸಮಾಜ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಘನತೆವೆತ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಥಾವರ್ ಚಂದ್ ಗೆಸ್ಟೋಟ್ ಇವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಹಾಗೂ ಎಸ್ , ವ್ಯಾಸ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಪ್ರೊ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಜಿ ಭಟ್ ಇವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ -2020 ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸ್ವಾಗತವನ್ನು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ .

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ -2020 ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ: ಮಾನ್ಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಡಾ . ಸಿ.ಎಸ್ . ಅಶ್ವಥ್‌ನಾರಾಯಣ ಇವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಗಳಂತೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ 2020 ರನ್ನು ಈ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ .

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ -2020 ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶಗಳು: ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸ್ನಾತಕಪೂರ್ವ ಪದವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ . ಈ ಪದವಿ ತರಗತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ , ಅಮುಖ್ಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಾಯನ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶವಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಕೆಲವು ಕೋರ್ಸಗಳನ್ನು Open Elective ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ , ಸಾಕ್ಷರತೆ , ಯೋಗ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯ ಮುಂತಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ , ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಕ್ಕೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಲಬ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು Open Elective ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ .

Brainstorming session on NEP & School Education

Bengaluru: The City is going to witness a brainstorming session on exploring the possibilities of finding opportunities for improving school education under the National Education Policy 2020. The two-day seminar is being hosted by Vidya Bharati in association with the CMR Group of Institutions.
The state-level seminar – Implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in the State of Karnataka: Strategies and Opportunities for School Education – is going to be formally inaugurated by Primary & Secondary Education Minister B C Nagesh, at 10 am on September 6 at the CMR Institute of Technology, Marathalli. The keynote speaker would be Prof M K Sridhar, Member, NEP Draft Committee & Member, UGC. The seminar will conclude on September 7.
While Karnataka has already been acknowledged as the pioneer state in India to get going with the implementation of the NEP, the CMR education group years ago created a conducive environment for effecting student-centric education as delineated in the NEP.
The topics to be deliberated upon at the seminar include opportunities and challenges in the implementation of early childhood care and education; an integrated approach to social studies with Bharatiya perspectives; Trends, Issues and Challenges in Language Education; and redesigning PUC to become an integral part of 4 year secondary education.
The outcome of the seminar, in the form of a report, will be shared with the Karnataka Education Department as a handbook on NEP 2020.

1 , ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಇರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಗೆಹರಿಸುವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದೊಂದಿಗೆ , ದಿನಾಂಕ 30-08-2021 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 11 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಲಹಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಅನೇಕ ತಜ್ಞರ ಸಲಹೆಯಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 9 ರಿಂದ 12 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ವಾರದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು , ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನಾಹುತಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ . ಅದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೂಡಲೇ 1 ರಿಂದ 8 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯವರಿಗೂ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ನಡೆಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ರುಪ್ಪ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ . 2. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನಿಂದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ತಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ವಿಚಾರ . ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಬಾರಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ 2020-21ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಆರ್.ಟಿ.ಈ.ಹಣ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅದರಿಂದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಹಣ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿ .

3 . ಇಂದಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಭರವಸೆಯಂತೆ 2000 ವರೆಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಾನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿದ್ದರು ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ 4 ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅನೇಕ ಬಿ.ಇ.ಓಗಳು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಟಿ.ಸಿ.ಯನ್ನು ಅನಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ನಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು , ತತ್ತಕ್ಷಣ ಅಂತವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು . ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲಾ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ಒಳಗಂಡಂತೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ ರಚಿಸಬೇಕು . 5. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಚಾರಣೆ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಯನ್ನು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು . 6. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜ್ ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ರೂಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ 172000 ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಉಳಿದ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಹಣ ಯಾವಾಗ ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಿ .
