— Now students will not have to do MPhil. Rather MA students will now be able to do PHD directly.

Students will be able to do other courses in between. Gross enrollment ratio will be 50 percent by 2035 in higher education. At the same time, under the new education policy, if a student wants to do another course in the middle of a course, then he can take a second course by taking a break for a limited time from the first course.

Many reforms have also been made in higher education. Improvements include graded academic, administrative and financial autonomy etc. Apart from this, e-courses will be started in regional languages. Virtual Labs will be developed. A National Educational Scientific Forum (NETF) will be started. There are 45 thousand colleges in the country.

Uniform rules will be for all government, private, deemed institutions.
According to this rule, new academic session can be started and all students and parents need to carefully read this message.

CMRIT student beats gloom and lands in plum job

In virtual campus recruitment, CMRIT places 450 students+ in various companies with mentored special programmes

Even as the job market is contracting because of the pandemic and economic slowdown, CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) successfully placed over 450 students in various companies through virtual campus recruitment programme. Most successful among them was M.Tech student Ashutosh Bhatte, who convinced his interviewers to secure a job in Synechron Technologies for an annual pay package of Rs 22 lakhs, the highest offer made.

Students of the academic batch 2019-2020 were placed in top multinational companies like TCS, Infosys, LTI, Capgemini, Amazon, VMware, SAP Labs, MScripts, Eurofins and Deloitte. Special mentoring programmes, mock interviews, entrepreneurship training and research skill training imparted by CMRIT enabled the students to successfully get hired.

Ashutosh completed his Computer Science degree in August, 2020 with a thesis titled “Hand Gesture Recognition for Software Deployment”. Gesture recognition has plenty of applications as technology progresses towards a new generation of human-computer interaction and visual input mode. It has a major role in virtual environment control, sign language translation, robot remote control or music creation.

Synechron Technologies is headquartered in New York with 18 offices around the world. It provides digital solutions to banks, asset managers, and insurance companies as well as emerging technologies like Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence.

A hardworking student and an avid coder, Ashutosh has broken all records by receiving the highest package any student in CMRIT has ever received. Dr. Sanjay Jain, Principal CMRIT, congratulated Ashutosh and other students.

“CMRIT is proud of Ashutosh for creating campus placement history. Every year, scores of our students secure jobs in top notch multinational organizations and startups, and turn out to be innovators our world needs today,” said Dr Jain.

Professor Lakshman Malla, Director, Placement and Career Guidance, credited the well-designed Placement Career Guidance programs for premium job offers for the students of CMRIT. “The increase in the number of placements every year with decent packages is only an evidence of our efforts,” Malla said.
