“When written in Chinese, the word ‘crisis’ is composed of two characters – one represents danger and the other represents opportunity,” said one of the greatest American statesmen, John F. Kennedy. While Covid-19 pandemic drove us inside and deprived many of offline learning and teaching, it provided us a great opportunity for online learning. I personally had an opportunity to conduct and teach in more than 25 webinars to general and specific peer groups. Now, while we prepare ourselves for offline courses, we are staring at another wave of the pandemic. Nevertheless, the show must go on. Main Purpose

I. To create 5000+ Yoga Volunteers to give Yoga knowledge to future generations by giving 36 hours of Yoga Teaching and Certification from Yoga Certification Board, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India at Very Nominal Cost.

Under this long term project, we are considering following things..

a. Any School or College can join this program by paying just ₹300/- per student for all their students above 6th standard with minimum of 100 students, but before 31.12.2022 to make their School or College 100% Yoga Volunteers Certified School/College.  

b. Any person or organisation or NGO or Charitable Trust, Rotary Clubs or Lions Clubs interested in Yoga Promotion, if they pay ₹300/- per head for 333 students before 31.12.2022, for conducting Yoga Volunteers Program in Govt Schools/Colleges.  They will also be getting rebate under sec 80(g) of IT Act.

II. To publish Science of Pranayama Compendium written by Dr Devaki Madhav of Mysore  in the present GLOBAL YOGA SUMMIT 2022,  in the series of publishing many Compendiums on different subjects like;

1. Relevance of Bhagavad Gita in the Past, Present and Future by Sri Ranga Krishna from Mysore and Sri Narayanananda Swamiji from Kanakapura.

2. Acupuncture in Rural India as BARE FOOT DOCTORS by Dr Sami Ullah from Bangalore.

3. Garbha Sanskar Yoga by Dr. Andal Lakshmi from Chennai, for getting Child of Choice with Normal Delivery.

4.  Mano (Mind) Yoga by Dr Vishwanath from Bangalore, to address  the problems of Mind.

5.  Natya Yoga and Dance Therapy by Smt Monica Khialani from Mumbai.

III. To Give Experience of Many Drugless Therapies to our Delegates from experts in the field.

IV. To introduce various National and International expert Speakers in various fields in Yoga, who have contributed many things by their Research, Service and Experience of Teaching at  National and International Level. Some of them with Padma Shree and Padma Vibhushana Award from Govt of India.

Kerala Ayurveda Limited receives US patent for its herbal formulation

  • The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted KAL its first patent for a proprietary herbal formulation that is uniquely processed and inspired by ancient ayurvedic wisdom
  • The patent also covers the efficacy of the herbal composition in the management of metabolic syndrome disorders such as type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, and lipid profile management

Bengaluru, 9 December 2022: Kerala Ayurveda Limited (KAL) announced at the 9th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo 2022 Inaugurated in Goa that it has received its first patent from The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for a proprietary herbal formulation that is uniquely processed and inspired by ancient ayurvedic wisdom.

 

A statistical framework was conducted on the formulation using the rigors of modern scientific validation, including Phytochemical & Marker Analysis, extensive pre-clinical testing at Renovel Discoveries Inc. in the United States, and a pharma rigor double-blind placebo-controlled clinical study at the well-known Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in India.

 

The patent also covers the efficacy of the herbal composition in the management of metabolic syndrome disorders such as type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, and lipid profile management, as well as its use in the preparation of food supplements, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals in appropriate dosage forms such as beverages/liquids, capsules, tablets, granules, jellies, to mention a few.

 

Dr. Jayarajan Kodikannath, CEO of Kerala Ayurveda USA, said, “With a perfect profile demonstrated by our team, this milestone will now allow Kerala Ayurveda to play a significant role in the global Ayurvedic. ತಿಪಟೂರು: ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹೊನ್ನವಳ್ಳಿ ಹೋಬಳಿಯ ಹಾಲ್ಕುರಿಕೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆಂಪಮ್ಮದೇವಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ‘ನಮ್ಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಹಿರಂಗ ಸಭೆ’ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಸ್ಪಂದನಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಟೂಡಾ ಶಶಿಧರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಇಂದು ಶೇ. ೯೮ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮನೆಯ ಒಳಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಗೂ ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದೆಯಾ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಯೋಚಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾನು ಇಂದು ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕನಸು ತುಂಬಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಬೇಕಿದೆ. ೧೨ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಗಂಡು ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಸಮಾನರು. ವೈಜ್ಷಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಆಗಿರುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಂದು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶೋಷಣೆ ನಿಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಗಳು ಋತುಮತಿಯಾದರೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟರಿ ಪ್ಯಾಡ್ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವುದೂ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾದ ಸಲಹೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ಥೆರ್ಯ ತುಂಬಿದರೆ ಹಿಂಜರಿಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಓ್ವಟರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹ್ಯಾಪಿ ಟು ಬ್ಲೀಡ್ ಎನ್ನುವ ಹ್ಯಾಷ್‌ಟ್ಯಾಗ್ ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿದ ನನಗೆ ವ್ಯಂಗ್ಯ, ಮೂದಲಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಈ ಕಷ್ಟ ಅವರ ತಂದೆ-ಗAಡ-ಅಣ್ಣAದಿರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಗಬೇಕಾದ ಗೌರವ, ಆಧ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
