Yogoda Satsanga Society of India/Self-Realization Fellowship (YSS/SRF) President and Spiritual Head, Sri Sri Swami Chidananda Giri, delivered an inspiring spiritual discourse on Kriya Yoga, a scientific yoga technique for quickening human evolution. Addressing a diverse audience of more than 2000 people at Palace Grounds, Swamiji shared insights on the works of the world-renowned Master Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda, author of the best-selling spiritual classic “Autobiography of a Yogi”. Known as the ‘Father of Yoga’ in the west, Yoganandaji introduced millions of seekers into the ancient Indian science of Yoga through this seminal work.
Swamiji said “We are now in an ascending cycle of human evolution. The younger generation will steer this world into an age of higher consciousness. Ancient sciences like Kriya Yoga will play a major role in these times of transformation.” He narrated how Mahavatar Babaji, an immortal Himalayan Master revived Kriya Yoga for this age of science & technology. “Kriya Yoga,” he said, “is an exact science which can be practised by all men, irrespective of religion or creed. By enabling direct contact with the inner divine source within every man, Kriya awakens higher consciousness and becomes the key to inner peace and the antidote to all human suffering.”

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಹತ್ವಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ಟಿ ಸಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಇಂದು ದಿನಾಂಕ 6 ಜನವರಿ 2025 ರಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಲಿಂಗ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ವಿ ಅನ್ಬು ಕುಮಾರ್ ಐಎಎಸ್ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ಟಿ ಸಿ ಯ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜಿಂಗ್ ಡೈರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ರವರು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು
ಇದು ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ಟಿ ಸಿ ನೌಕರರಿಗೆ ನಗದು ರಹಿತ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತವಾಗಿ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ಟಿ ಸಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸುಮಾರು 33,000 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಅವಲಂಬಿತರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವು ದೊರೆಯಲಿದ್ದು.
ಇದರ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ್ಯಂತ 220ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಇದರ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮಾನ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಲಿಂಗ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ರವರು ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು ವಾಸನ್ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ್ಯಂತ 17 ಶಾಖೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಶಾಖೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಶಾಖೆಗಳು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ಟಿ ಸಿ ಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಾಸನ್ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಗದು ರಹಿತ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವು ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ.
ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜನತಾಪಕ್ಷದ ಹೊಣೆಗೇಡಿ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇಡೀ ಆಡಳಿತದೇ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ತಾಣವಾಗಿರುವುದು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೇಡಿನ ವಿಷಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ವಾಣಂತಿಯರ ಸಾವುಗಳು ದಿನೇದಿನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಕಂಗಾಲಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತರವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ ನಾಡಿನ ಜನರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಡಿನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರೋಧಾಭಾಸದ
ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸಾವಿಗೀಡಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಬಾಣಂತಿಯರು ಒಂದೆಡೆಯಾದರೆ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ ನವಣಾತ ಶಿಶುಗಳ ದಾರುಣ ಸಾವು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸರಣಿ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವರು “ನನ್ನ ತಪ್ಪಿದ್ದರೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ದ” ಎಂಬ ಬೇಜಾವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಅನುಕಂಪ ಗಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮುಂದುವರೆದು ಸದರಿ ಸಚಿವರು “ಗ್ಲೋಕೋಸ್ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಕಂಪೆನಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕ್ರಮ” ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಳಪೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಂಪೆನಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಸದರಿ ಔಷಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಾನು ಅನುಸಾರ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸದೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿದ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬರಿ ಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ದವೂ ಸ್ವವೂ ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸುವ మాడుతారు? ಧೈದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವರು ಮಾಡ

ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಚಿವೆಯವರು “ಇಲಾಖಾ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಲಾಗಿವೆ” ಎಂಬ ತಿಪ್ಪೇಸಾರಿಸುವ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರೆ. ಇವರದೇ ಆಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ದಗಳಿಗೆ ಇವರೇ ಪ್ರಮಾದಗ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ತನಿಖಾ ತಂಡದಿಂದ ಇಸ ಇವರದೇ ‘ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಲೋಪದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಂ ಕಾರಿಯಾದರೂ ಸತ್ಯಾ ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶದ ವರದಿ ನೀಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ? ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರನ್ನು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಇದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ತಪ್ಪಿತಸ್ಥರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕ್ರಮವೂ ಜರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯಜ್ಞಾನ ಇರುವ ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಹೊಣೆಗೇಡಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ನಾಮಕೇವಾಸ್ತೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿರುವ ಐಎಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಬಾರದರ್ಶಕ ತನಿಖೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಇಂತಹ ಗಂಭೀರ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕಾದವರು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀರೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸೂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಜ್ಞರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಸದರಿ ತನಿಖಾ ತಂಡದ ಸೇಮಕಾತಿಯ ಕಣ್ಣೂರೆಸುವ ತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸಮಯ ಹಾಗೂ ದೊಕ್ಕಸಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹಾನಿಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವುದೇ ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶವೂ ಹೊರಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ತಪ್ಪಿತಸ್ಥರ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,
ಬಾಣಂತಿಯರ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಘೋಷಿಸಿರುವ ರೂ.5 ಲಕ್ಷಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರವಂತೂ ಅವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ, ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ, ಅತಾರ್ಕಿಕ ತೀರ್ಮಾನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ವಿತರಣೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಾಣಂತಿಯರ ಮತ್ತು ನವಜಾತ ಶಿಶುಗಳ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಬೆಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಸಂಬದ್ದ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿದಂತೆ.
ವಿರೋಧಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆಡಳಿತ ಪಕ್ಷದವರು ತಮಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತಹ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನೇ ನೇಮಿಸುವುದು, ತಿಪ್ಪೆಸಾರಿಸುವುದು. ವರದಿಯ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನವಾಗದೆ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಹೋಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಹಾಲಿ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಜನತಾಪಕ್ಷವು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಬಡಬಗ್ಗರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾವಿನ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡಂತೆ ಭಯಭೀತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಸಾಲ-ಸೋಲ ಮಾಡಿ ದುಬಾರಿ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಂತಹ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನುಮಾನ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿರನ್ನು ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು ಬಡವರ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಘಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಾಣಂತಿಯರ ಸಾವು, ನವಜಾತ ಶಿಶುಗಳ ಸಾವು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೇ ಮೇಜರ್ ಸರ್ಜರಿಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ.

Bengaluru – December 5th, 2024-Stroke, a medical condition often associated with older adults, is now alarmingly on the rise among Karnataka’s young population. Driven by factors such as poor lifestyle choices, chronic stress, and environmental influences, the state is witnessing an increasing number of stroke cases in individuals as young as their late teens. These strokes frequently lead to severe neurological deficits, forcing survivors to confront physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. Early intervention and rehabilitation are proving essential in addressing this growing epidemic, as demonstrated by the remarkable recovery of a 19-year-old boy.
The young second-year engineering student’s life changed dramatically during a routine gym session. While lifting weights, he suffered a stroke, leaving him with locked-in syndrome-a rare neurological condition characterized by near-total paralysis, where communication is limited to eye movements. For his family, the incident was devastating, as their once-active son was suddenly left immobile and dependent.
