ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾ. 28: ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ಪುರ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಂಕು ವಸೂಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ.ಗಳಷ್ಟು ಅವ್ಯವಹಾರ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಖಿಲ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರೈತರು ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ (ರಿ) ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಎಲ್. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಗಂಭೀರ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, “ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ಪುರ ಸಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 1.14 ಗುಂಟೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಂಕು ವಸೂಲಾತಿ ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು 9,81,700 ರೂ.ಗಳ ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಟೆಂಡರ್ 1.14 ಗುಂಟೆಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಸುಂಕು ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಭದ್ರ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಟೆಂಡರ್ ದಾರರು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದರು.
