‘ಯೂನಿಫೈ ಟು ನೋಟಿಫೈ’ ಅಭಿಯಾನ: ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಅಧಿಸೂಚಿತ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸುವತ್ತ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ

ಅಪೋಲೋ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ಸ್, ಭಾರತೀಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಂಘ (ಐಎಂಎ), ಭಾರತೀಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ (ಐಸಿಎಂಆರ್) ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಆಂಕೋಲಾಜಿ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್‌ಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿಶ್ವ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ‘ಯೂನಿಫೈ ಟು ನೋಟಿಫೈ’ ಎಂಬ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವ್ಯಾಪಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನವು ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಅಧಿಸೂಚಿತ ಕಾಯಿಲೆ (Notifiable Disease)ಯಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸುವಂತೆ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಇದು ದೇಶದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವಪೂರ್ಣ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.


ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ 14 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೊಸ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ವರದಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, 2025 ರ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 15.7 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಏರುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ. ಈ ರೋಗವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಸೂಚಿತ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರೆ, ರಿಯಲ್ ಟೈಂ ಡೇಟಾ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಗ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವಿಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಡೆಯುವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಧಿಷ್ಟ ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಅಧಿಸೂಚಿತ ಕಾಯಿಲೆ ಮಾಡಲಿರುವ ಲಾಭಗಳು:

ನಿಖರವಾದ ಡೇಟಾ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ: ರೋಗದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ದೊರಕುತ್ತದೆ.

ಐಎಂಎ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ. ವಿಜಯಾನಂದ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ, “ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಅಧಿಸೂಚಿತ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ, ರೋಗ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಆಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಇದು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು, ಮರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಬದುಕುಳಿಯುವಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.”

ಎಎಚ್‌ಇಎಲ್ ಆಂಕೋಲಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಮಾಧವನ್ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ, “ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟ ಸಮೂಹ ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಅಧಿಸೂಚಿತ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರೆ, ನೈಜ ಸಮಯದ ಡೇಟಾ ದೊರೆಯುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀತಿ ನಿರೂಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧಕರು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.”

ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶೀಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿ:

ಭಾರತದ ಹರಿಯಾಣ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ತ್ರಿಪುರ, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 15 ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಅಧಿಸೂಚಿತ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವ್ಯಾಪಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ, ಅಮೆರಿಕ, ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್, ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾ, ಕೆನಡಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 12 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದೇಶಗಳು ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಾಗಲೇ ಕಾರ್ಯನ್ವಯಿಸಿವೆ.

ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯ ಹಾದಿ:

Advika Care Foundation Hosts “We Not I: Every Step Tells a Story” Walkathon in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, January 29, 2025 – Advika Care Foundation, in collaboration with Prakriya Hospitals, is set to organize the “We Not I: Every Step Tells a Story” Walkathon on February 2, 2025, at Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru. The event aims to promote health, well-being, and community unity through collective action.

The 5K Walkathon, which will begin at 6:30 AM, will be flagged off by Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Honorable Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka. The event is also blessed by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the global humanitarian and spiritual leader of the Art of Living.

The walkathon will witness participation from healthcare professionals, community leaders, fitness enthusiasts, and citizens from various backgrounds, all coming together to emphasize the importance of a healthier and stronger society.

1). ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹುದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಬಾಬಾ ಸಾಹೇಬ್ ಡಾ।। ಬಿ ಆರ್ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್, ಭಗವಾನ್ ಬುದ್ಧ, ಬಸವಣ್ಣ ರವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ದುರುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಕೊಂಡರೆ ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಕೇಸ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಅಂತಹವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಿರ್ದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

2)ಬುದ್ಧ ಬಸವ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ರವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುತ್ತಳಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಇದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ, ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಪಾರ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಪುತ್ತಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನುಮತಿ ಬೇಡವಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಾ.

ಈ ಮೇಲ್ಕಂಡ ಎರಡು ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮಾನ್ಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಡಾ||. ಜಿ ಎನ್ ಸಿದ್ದಲಿಂಗಯ್ಯ
