ಜನನ: ಕ್ರಿ.ಶ.1922 ಜನವರಿ 30ರಂದು ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಗೌರಿಬಿದನೂರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಚಿಂತಲಪಲ್ಲಿ (ಹುಣಸೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ) ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರಾದ ದಿವಂಗತ ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟಾಚಲಯ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಾಮಕ್ಕ ದಂಪತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗೀತ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಅವರ ದೊಡ್ಡಪ್ಪನವರಾದ ಚಿಂತಲಪಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಕಳಸಪ್ರಾಯರಾದ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ದಿ|| ವೆಂಕಟರಾಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಣ್ಣನವರಾದ ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ದಿ|| ಚಿಂತಲಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರರಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜರ ಶಿಷ್ಯಪರಂಪರೆ ಅನುಸ್ಫೂತವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದುಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್, ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಟ್ ಹೀಗೆ 800 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೊಯ್ಸಳರ, ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಅರಸರ, ಮೈಸೂರು ಅರಸರ ನಿರಂತರ ಆಸ್ಥಾನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಚಿಂತಲಪಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಇವರಿಂದ ಪುನರುಜ್ಜಿವನಗೊಂಡು ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಛಾಪನ್ನು ಸಂಗೀತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.
ಪಾಠ-ಪಠಣ-ವಿದ್ಯಾದಾನ:ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು ಹುಣಸೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿರಸ್ಥಾಯಿಯಾಗಿಸಿದ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಈ ಜೋಡಿಯದ್ದು, ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಚಿಂತಲಪಲ್ಲಿ ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮಯ್ಯರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಪಾಠಾಂತರ, ಜೊತೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ರಾಗಾಲಾಪನೆ, ನೆರೆವಲ್ ಸ್ವರ-ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯ ಲಿಪಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಕಲಿಸಿದ ಅನೇಕ ಕೃತಿಗಳು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಈ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚ್ಚಳಿಯದೇ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ.
ದೇಶ-ವಿದೇಶ :1956ರ ದಶಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾ, ಬ್ರಿಟನ್, ಜರ್ಮನಿ, ಆಸ್ಟ್ರಿಯಾ, ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಐರೋಪ್ಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಬ್ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಚೂರೂ ಬಗ್ಗದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಳೆಯಿರುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ಕೂರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನೇಪಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಜರುಗಿದ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರ ಗಾಯನ ಆಲಿಸಿದ ಅಂದಿನ ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ವಿಕ್ರಮ ಶಾ ದೇವ ರವರು ಸಂತೋಷಚಿತ್ತದಿಂದ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಗಾನಸುಧೆಯನ್ನು ಹರಿಸಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಂಗೀತ ರಸಿಕರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ-ಅಭಿಮಾನ-ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಪಡೆದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರಣರಾದರು.
ಸೇವಾಮನೋಭಾವ: 1971 ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜ ಗಾನಸಭಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸದರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಸಹ ಅವಿತರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಶಿಷ್ಯವೃಂದ : ಇವರು ಸಂಗೀತ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ಜಿ.ಎ. ಹನುಮಂತಭಟ್ಟ, ಜಿ.ಎ. ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಜಿ.ಎ. ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ, ಟಿ.ಎಸ್. ಪದ್ಮಾ, ಚಂದ್ರಪ್ರಭಾ ಹಾಗೂ ವೇದವಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ಚಿಂತಲಪಲ್ಲಿ ವೆಂಕಟಾಚಲಪತಿ, ಚಿಂತಲಪಲ್ಲಿ ವಿ. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಮುಂತಾದ ಅಪಾರ ಶಿಷ್ಯಕೋಟಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಗೀತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಜುಲೈ 1, 1976ರಂದು ಸಂಗೀತ ಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಈ ದಿಗ್ಗಜನ ಅಸ್ತಂಗತವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

Thaawar Chand Gehlot will witness the regional culturalevent Divya Kala Shakti: Witnessing the abilities in disabilities a unique cultural event at Ravindra Kalakshethra Cultural Centre, Bengaluru, Karnatakaon 6th January 2024 (Saturday). He will be accompanied by the Hon’ble Minister Shri.A Narayanaswamy, Minister of State for Social Justice and a Empowerment, Govt. of India and Senior Officers the Department from the State and Central Government.
This event being organized by National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (Divyangjan) (NIEPMD),Chennai in collaboration with Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyagjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, In this eventaround 500 invitees including Persons with Differently Abled, Parents of Persons with Differently Abled,Teachers, Care-Givers NGOs, etc are expected to witness the program.
This event brings together children and youth with Differently Abled from all the Seven Southernzones viz. AndhraPradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Lakshadweep and Pudhucherry About 75 children and youth with differently abled of various disabilities like Visual Impairment,Hearing Impairment, Locomotor Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual disabilities, Multiple Disabilitiesetc have practiced over a month to display their hidden talents. These artists will perform dance,music, instrumental in classical, folk and modern style. This special event also includes Yoga andAcrobatics. Large number of women participants are also taking parts in this event.
This cultural event, Divya Kala Shakti, provides a wider and unique platform to showcase thepotential of Persons with Differently Abled in the field of performing art, music, dance, acrobatics etc.
The DEPwD,Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India in this direction hasal ready organized two National events on 18th April and 23rd July 2019 respectively at President’s house as well as Parliament Library Building, New Delhi with an objective to spread a wide awareness among all the four pillars of Democracy.
In those event Hon’ble President of India, Hon’ble Vice President, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India,Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha, all Union Cabinet Ministers as well as all MPs were present to witness theinnate talent in all Divyang children and Youth. The Hon’ble President with his inspirational speech wantedthis cultural event to be showcased in every nook and corner of the Country, so with his inspirational wordsDEPwD is committed to take it to al! regions More than 10 Divya Kala Shakthi Programs had been organized in various states. so that it can help in changing the role society contribution towards Divyangjan. The DEPwD is committed work in this direction for such kind of platforms through which Divyang can contribute for the socio-cultural and economic growth of the nation which is the vision of the Department. This program is funded under Awareness Generation Program (AGP) of Dept.of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India.
