Trend Micro Honoured As 2019 Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year for Security

Bangalore, April 15, 2020 – Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, today announced that it has been awarded as the 2019 Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year for Security. World Health Day: Popcorn Furniture join hands with “Good Karma for Kid’s mental wellbeing”

Bengaluru, 14th April 2020: On World Health Day, Popcorn School Furniture, India’s largest educational furniture manufacturing company, announced a one-month campaign focused on the mental wellbeing of the children. The campaign, launched in association with Good Karma, aims to mitigate the stress in children during the COVID-19 outbreak through workshops and activities.

The outbreak of COVID-19 has caused a high level of anxiety and fear in the minds of adults as well as children, who need extra care and proper guidance in this time. Popcorn Furniture will hold virtual workshops with kids as well as parents under the instruction of experts. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು : ಲಾಕ್‍ಡೌನ್‍ನಿಂದ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳವಾಗಿರುವ ರೈತರು, ಕೂಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರು ಪರಿಹಾರ ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಜನರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಹುಸಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರಾದ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಡಾ. ಬಿ.ಆರ್. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಅವರು ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಇತ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೂ ಅನಗತ್ಯ ವೆಚ್ಚಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಹಾಕುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ದಿವಾಳಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ದೂರಿದರು.

ಇಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯವರು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇಶದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ತೀರಾ ಕೆಳ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಇಂಥಹ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶ ಎಂದೂ ಕಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇಶದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ 2.5 ಆಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಜು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಮೂವತ್ತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಳ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಟ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಜನತೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ನೋಟ ನೆಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಜನರ ಭರವಸೆ ಹುಸಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ನೆರವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸದ ಮೋದಿಯವರು ಏಳು ಸೂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಕೈ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟದ ಕಡಲಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತೇಲಲು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ನಿಂದ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಿವೆ. ಕೃಷಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಬಡವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಕಂಗಾಲಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಳ್ಳಿ ಜನರ ತೊಂದರೆ ಹೇಳತೀರದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯವರು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಚೈತನ್ಯ ತುಂಬುವ, ಕೃಷಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮೇಲೆತ್ತುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಬಡವರು, ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದ ಭದ್ರತೆ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕಿತ್ತು.

ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಮಂದಿ ವಲಸಿಗ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಹುಸಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೋದಿಯವರು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಕೇವಲ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ವಿರೋಧ ಇಲ್ಲ :
ನಾವು ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೊರೊನಾ ಸೋಂಕು ಭಯಾನಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹಮತವೂ ಇದೆ. ಜನರೂ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಜೀ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷವೂ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆದರೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೊಂದವರ ನೆರವಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ನೂರಾರು ಮಂದಿ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಷ್ಟ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಸಂಘಟಿತ ವಲಯದ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು, ರೈತರ ತೊಂದರೆ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ರೈತರು ಬೆಳೆದ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಸಾಗಣೆಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಏರ್ಪಾಡು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ರೈತರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೀದಿಗೆ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಾವು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಕಾಲವಿದು. ಆದರೆ ಅವು ರೈತರ ಜಮೀನುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದವರ ಬದುಕು ಮೂರಾಬಟ್ಟೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದರೂ ಯಾರೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇಂದಿರಾ ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೀನ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ಊಟ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಡಿ ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ದರ ನಿಗದಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ. 50ರಷ್ಟು ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೀನ್‍ಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚುವ ಹಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಂತಿವೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯ, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ವಿಫಲ :
ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಹಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಜನರ ಕಷ್ಟ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿವೆ. ಕೆಂದ್ರ ವಿಫಲ. ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ಸಹ ನೂರಕ್ಕೆ ನೂರರಷ್ಟು ಪಾಲನೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇದೀಗ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಖಾಲಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಖಜಾನೆ ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಿಡಿಎ ಕಾರ್ನರ್ ಸೈಟ್ ಗಳ ಹರಾಜಿಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಅನಗತ್ಯ ವೆಚ್ಚಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಹಾಕದ ಕೊರತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದಿರುವ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಮೇಲೆತ್ತಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.

ಮೂಲೆ ನಿವೇಶನಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಾಜು ಹಾಕುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ 15 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಖಜಾನೆಗೆ ತುಂಬುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂಬ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಡ್ಡಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಬಿಡಿಎ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ರಾಜೀವ್‍ಗಾಂಧಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಹಣ ಇದೆ. ಅದು ವೈದ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಹಣ. ಅದನ್ನೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ.

ನಿಗಮ-ಮಂಡಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೇ ಈಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದರ್ಬಾರು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಿಗೆ ನಿಗಧಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಕಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಚೇರಿ, ಮನೆ ಕೆಸಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ಕಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅನಗತ್ಯ ವೆಚ್ಚಕ್ಕೆ ಕಡಿಹಾವಣ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಒಂದು ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಅಷ್ಟೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಅನಗತ್ಯ ವೆಚ್ಚಗಳು ಅನೇಕ. ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು.

ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ತೆರಿಗೆ, ನೋಂದಣಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮುದ್ರಾಂಕ ಶುಲ್ಕ, ಅಬಕಾರಿ, ಮೋಟಾರು ವಾಹನ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಈಗ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜ್ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡದ ಹೊರತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಚೈತನ್ಯ ತುಂಬಲಾಗದು.

ದಿವಾಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣಗಳು :
ಅನಗತ್ಯ ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಿಡಿತ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದು, ಕೇಂದ್ರದಿಂದ ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಎಸ್‍ಟಿ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಬಾರದಿರುವುದು, ಹಣಕಾಸು ಇಲಾಖೆಯನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸದಿರುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮಾಡದಿರುವುದು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ದಿವಾಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಶುಭಾಶಯ :
ಈವತ್ತು ಬಾಬಾ ಸಾಹೇಬ್ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನ. ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸಮಿತಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಸರಳವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡಿನ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ಶುಭಾಶಯ ಕೋರುವುದಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
