Star-studded teams to vie for Dolo-650 Bangalore Cup Invitation All India Hockey Tournament (Men)

Bengaluru, 7 August 2019: Hockey Karnataka today announced the return of their marquee annual hockey extravaganza the Dolo-650 Bangalore Cup invitation All India Hockey Tournament (Men) to begin on 10 August 2019 at the Field Marshal KM Cariappa Hockey Arena, Bengaluru. The 4th edition of this tournament will see top eight teams in the domestic circuit vie for the prestigious title which comes with prize money of Rs 4 Lakhs while runners-up will walk away with Rs 2 Lakhs.

The round-robin stage in the tournament will witness Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Mumbai (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Mumbai (BPCL), Indian Navy, New Delhi, All India Customs, Mumbai battle it out in Pool A while Pool B consists of Army XI, Air India, Mumbai, Indian Air Force, New Delhi and hosts Hockey Karnataka. Top two teams from Pool A and B in the round robin stage will play the Semi Finals on 17 August 2019 while the title round will be played on 18 August 2019.

BPCL team includes veteran Tushar Kandekar, Olynmpian Devindar Walmiki and Junior World Cup winning Captain Harjeet Singh among others while Charismatic striker Nikkin Thimmaiah will play for hosts Hockey Karnataka. Army XI goalkeeper Akash Chikte, who was last seen in action for India at the World League Final in Bhubaneswar 2017, too will be seen in action as he hopes to find his winning ways after being out of action for over a year.

“This tournament provides a great opportunity for young India players who are vying to be selected for the National Coaching Camp again. In the previous edition held in 2017, ONGC won the tournament with South Central Railway ending their campaign as runners-up.

Bengaluru, August 7, 2019: The badminton enthusiasts of Bengaluru are all set to witness on-court battles by future prodigies, as PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Limited (PNB MetLife), among the top 10 private life insurance companies in India (fiscal 2019, Source: CRISIL), launches the PNB MetLife Junior Badminton Championship (JBC)-Season 5, one of the biggest national open Badminton tournament in the city. Officially inaugurated by P.V. Sindhu, the Olympic medallist and brand ambassador of PNB MetLife and U. Vimal Kumar, National badminton champion and coach, in Hyderabad on July 4, 2019. Bengaluru is the 5th city of this year’s JBC tournament, which is scheduled to be held across 10 cities of India.

As a part of the Company’s commitment to take Badminton to the grassroots, this year JBC reaches a notch higher with the launch of JBC Boot Camp, a customized YouTube channel to aide budding Badminton enthusiasts, that hosts sessions from stalwarts like P.V. The fifth edition JBC tournaments are being hosted in 10 cities Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Kochi, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Guwahati and New Delhi. The matches will be played in four age categories-Under-9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 for boys and girls. The top two kids from each category from every city tournament will proceed to the national finale in New Delhi where they will get a chance to be felicitated with the National Title by P.V. Sindhu.

ಪ್ರಮೋದ್ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಹೆಗಡೆ @ ಆಕಾಶ್ ಭಟ್ ಬಿನ್ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಹೆಗಡೆ , 28 ವರ್ಷ , ನಂ : 001 , ಪೈಲೇಕ್ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಸಿ , ಈದ್ಧಾ ರಸ್ತೆ , ವರ್ತೂರು , ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು . ಸ್ವಂತ ವಿಳಾಸ – ಕಾಂಚಕ್ಕೆ ( ಗ್ರಾಮ ) , ಇಟೌನಿ ( ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ , ಸಿದ್ದಾಪುರ ( ತಾ ) , ಉತ್ತರಕನ್ನಡ ( ಜಲ್ಲಿ ) . ಆರೋಪಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಈ ಕೆಳಕಂಡ ಅಂಶಗಳು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ . 1 ) ಅರೋಪಿ ಅಕಾಶ್ ಭಟ್ ಎಂಬ ಕಪೋಲಕಲ್ಪಿತ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಕಲಿ ಫೇಸ್‌ಬುಕ್ ಖಾತೆ ತೆರೆದು ಹೆಂಗಸರಿಗೆ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ ಅಕ್ಸೆಸ್ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು , ಅಕ್ಸೆಸ್ ಅಕ್ಸೆಪ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹೆಂಗಸರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೆಸೆಂಜರ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಚಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವಿಚಾರ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ . 2 ) ಚಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ನಿಕಟ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಂತೆ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಸಲಿಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವಿಚಾರ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ , 3 ) ಸಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಚಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುವುದಾಗಿ ವಂಚಿಸುತ್ತ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಾರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟಕಾರ್ಪಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿ ಹಂತ ಹಂತವಾಗಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 11 , 23 , 285 / – ರೂಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ಖಾತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಜಮಾ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ವಂಚಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಡಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಲೆಮರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅನುಮಾನಗೊಂಡು ನೊಂದ ಮಹಿಳೆ ದಿನಾಂಕ : 25 . 02 . 2019 ರಂದು ಸೈಬರ್ ಕ್ರೈಂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದ ದೂರಿನನ್ವಯ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತನಿಖೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು . 4 ) ಆರೋಪಿ ನೊಂದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಾನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವೈಟ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್‌ನ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಾಂಚ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೂಪರ್ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್ ಏಸಿನೆಸ್ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಬಿಂಬಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದ . ಆರೋಪಿ ಇದೇ ಅತಿ ಇತರೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯಲಗೂ ಫೇಸ್‌ಬುಕ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುವುದಾಣ ನಂಚಿಸಿ ವಂಚಿಸಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದ್ದು , ನೊಂದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತರ ಕಛೇರಿ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೈಬರ್ ಕ್ರೈಂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಅಂತ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ . ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣದ ಖಾತೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ನೈಜತೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು , ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಬಣ್ಣ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮರುಳಾ ಹಣ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ವಂಚನೆಗೊಳಗಾಗದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಹಿಸಲು ಕೋಲದೆ . . ಈ ಪತ್ತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜಂಟಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತರು , ಅಪರಾಧರವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ . ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ , ಐ . ಪಿಎಸ್ , ಜಲ9 ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತರು , ಅಪರಾದ – 2 ರವರಾದ ಕೆ . ಪಿ . ರವಿಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರುಗಳ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈಬರ್ ಕ್ರೈಂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಪಿ . ಐ . ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ . ಎನ್ . ಯಶವಂತಕುಮಾರ್ , ಪಿಎಸ್‌ಐ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂತೋಷ್‌ರಾಮ್ , ಎಎಸ್‌ಐ ಶ್ರೀ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ , ಹೆಚ್‌ಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ . ಸತೀಶ್ , ಆರ್ , ಪಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸದಾಶಿವರವರುಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ .
