LG Electronics organize “Blood Donation Drive” across the country

Bangalore, May 11, 2019: On occasion of LG Electronics India’s 22nd anniversary, the company is extending its commitment towards the nation by organizing a mega blood donation drive across 47 cities, on Saturday, May 11, 2019. The CSR initiative is led in association with National Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC), Ministry of health & family welfare, Govt. of India. The blood bank partners are Army Command hospitals, Red Cross Society of India, Rotary, Lion’s, Govt. hospitals & others.
In addition to the blood donation camps across country, this initiative also aims in spreading the awareness about this noble gesture of donating blood. LG rolled out this initiative through radio, digital and on-ground activations at retail stores inviting Indian citizens to donate blood and become a proud life savior.

Vaya Life opens two new retail stores in Bangalore

The brand already has an exclusive store in Chennai. Located in Indira Nagar and Commercial Street, the new stores are designed to showcase and experience the entire range of products from Vaya. Starting out in 2016, the company shook up the lunchbox market by completely re-imagining the boring dabba as a sleek, compact stainless steel Vaya Tyffyn, which has also become a style statement apart from being a meal carrier. The company has been launching newer designs, colours and patterns in the lunchbox category with its Tyffyn range. Following the success of its Tyffyn range, Vaya launched its second line of products, Vaya Drynk. Do you make calls or receive calls in your kitchen? My name is Dr. Ademola. Just 3 days ago my husband who also is a doctor shared the sad incidents of 6 individuals who were brought into the casualty department for burns injury which they sustained while making or receiving phone calls in the kitchen with the gas burner ON. Even microwave oven or induction stoves could be dangerous. Some of them cook with the phone pressed against their ears! Please stop making or receiving calls in the kitchen. It is as dangerous as making or receiving calls in a petrol station. ” Please don’t forget to share this with your loved ones”. If the call is very urgent then move away from the gas by 10-12 feet distance and then take the call. Remember that your safety is your family’s safety as well.
