Shankar Malagi, AEE(I/c EE), & 2) Shilpa Mundalamani, J.E, Panchayath Raj Engineering Division, Koppal, had demanded bribe amount of Rs.10,000/- to do the same.
On 14/11/2018 Sri. Satish Kumar, Computer Operator, (Out Source Employee), O/o Executive Engineer, Panchayath Raj Engineering Division, Koppal, was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe amount of Rs.10,000/- from the compalainant. All the three A.G.O’s were arrested and taken into custody and the bribe amount is recovered. The investigation is in progress.

ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಏನಾಗಿತ್ತು? ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಅಟ್ಲಾಂಟೊ-ಆಕ್ಸಿಯಲ್ ಡಿಸ್ಲೊಕೇಷನ್ (ಎಎಡಿ) ಎಂಬ ರೋಗ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಇದು ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೊಂದು ಅಪರೂಪದ ಪ್ರಕರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು ತಲೆ ಬುರುಡೆಯು ಅಸಮಂಜಸ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಅಗಲವಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಂಧ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಬೆನ್ನುಹುರಿಯು ಮೆದುಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಬುರುಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಂಧ್ರವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ತಲೆಬುರುಡೆಗೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಬೇಕಾದ ಮೊದಲ ಬೆನ್ನುಮೂಳೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎರಡನೇ ಬೆನ್ನುಮೂಳೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಲೆಬುರುಡೆಯು ಕುಳಿತಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೇ ತಲೆ ಬುರುಡೆಯು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ನರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಾರಿದೆ.

ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬ್ಸರ್ವೇಷನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಗು ಈಗ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ನಂತರ ದೃಢಕಾಯನಾಗಿ ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಮಗುವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ತೋಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ನರಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಡಾ. ಮುರಳಿ, ಸಾಗರ್ ಬ್ರೇನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪೈನ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್, ಸಾಗರ್ ಹಾಸ್ಪಿಟಲ್ಸ್ ಅವರು, “ಆ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಹ ಗಂಭೀರ ಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೇ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಬಂದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವು ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾವು ಟ್ಯಾಬ್ ಇರಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂದು ಅವರು ಛೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಹ ಸವಾಲಿನ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದ ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೇಗದ ಛೇತರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

“ಇಂತಹ ಗಂಭೀರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಮೆದುಳಿನ – ಬೆನ್ನು ಹುರಿಯ ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ನ ಸಂಕುಚಿತತೆ, ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ಹಿಡಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನಾಯುವಿನ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಕೊರತೆಯ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಗು ಉಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಒಂದು ಪವಾಡವೇ ಸರಿ. ಉಳಿವನ್ನು ಖಾತರಿಪಡಿಸುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದು ಎರಡು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ, ತೀವ್ರವಾದ ಬೆನ್ನುಹುರಿ ಸಂಕೋಚನ ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡನೆಯದಾಗಿ, ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಜಾರುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವುದು.” ಎಂದು ಡಾ. ಆನ್ ಆಗ್ನೆಸ್ ಮ್ಯಾಥ್ಯೂ, ಕನ್ಸಲ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಪೀಡಿಯಾಟ್ರಿಕ್ ನರವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ, ಸಾಗರ್ ಹಾಸ್ಪಿಟಲ್ಸ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

“ಒಬ್ಬ ಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕರಾಗಿ ಅದರದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಗುವ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಧೈರ್ಯ ಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ನ ಸ್ಟಾಂಡರ್ಡ್ ಬೋಧನೆಯೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಟ್ರೀಟ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವುದು ಒಂದು ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಸವಾಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಈ ಸರ್ಜರಿಯು ಒಂದು ಮೇಜರ್ ವಿಧಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಇದು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಸರ್ಜರಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಸಂತೋಷವಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಮಗುವು ಇಷ್ಟು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಛೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಆನಂದದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ”. ಎಂದು ಡಾ. ಮುರುಳಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

“ನಾವು ಸಾಗರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಕೃತಜ್ಞರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಮೋಹನ್ ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳು ಕಾಣದೆ ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭರವಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್ಸ್ ಕೇವಲ ಸರ್ಜರಿಯನ್ನಷ್ಟೆ ಮಾಡದೇ ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಗುವಿನ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ತೇಜಸ್ ನ ತಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
