ಬೆಂಗಳೂರುದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸಮಾಜದ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಪಹಲ್ಗಾಂನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ಹಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯೋಧರ ಬಲಿ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಂಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಟೀಕಿಸಿದರು.
“ಆಪರೇಶನ್ ನಕಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವವರು ಚಿಂತಕರು ಅಲ್ಲ, ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳು. ಇವರೆಂಬವರು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಹಕ್ಕಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಣಹೊಂದಿದ ಯೋಧರ ಬಲಿದಾನವನ್ನೇ ಅವಮಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ರಾಜ್ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು.



ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆ:
ಈ ರೀತಿ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ಸೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದೋಷಾರೋಪ ಮಾಡುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಗಂಭೀರ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು. ದೇಶದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ತದ್ವಿರುಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವಹೇಳನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಈ ವರ್ತನೆ “ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ” ಎಂದರು.

ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯ:
ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದೇಶಿ ಹಣಪೂರ್ವಿತ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಜತೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಅಭಿಯಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ರಾಜ್ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

“ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಭಾಷಣ ಹಕ್ಕು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಯೋಧರ ಬಲಿದಾನವನ್ನು ನಕಾರಿಸುವ ಹಕ್ಕು ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಜಾಗೃತತೆಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

Undermining their sacrifices by calling genuine operations fake is a deliberate act of sabotage. It must not go unpunished,” he stated.

He urged the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Defence to launch investigations into such propaganda campaigns, particularly those spread through social media platforms and foreign-funded digital groups. “Freedom of speech does not give anyone the right to call our martyrs’ sacrifices a lie,” he emphasized.

Several veterans and nationalist voices echoed his sentiment, warning that unchecked misinformation can sow doubt among the masses, damage India’s international image, and encourage terror sympathizers.

G.S. Gopal Raaj concluded with a clarion call to patriotic citizens, media, and government institutions to remain vigilant. “India must draw a clear line between constructive criticism and deliberate sabotage. Those who insult our martyrs must be exposed and legally held accountable,” he said.
