ತುಮಕೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮಧುಗಿರಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಕೋಡಿಗೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹೋಬಳಿಯ ದೊಡ್ಡಮಾಲೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಸರ್ವೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 64ರಲ್ಲಿ 113 ಎಕರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಭಾರಿ ಭೂಅಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಮಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಕುರಿತು ನಟರಾಜ್ ಜೆ.ಎನ್. ಎಂಬವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸುಮಾರು 49 ಎಕರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹಲವರು ಬಗರ್‌ಹುಕುಂ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಗುವಳಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಉಳಿದ 57.04 ಎಕರೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಗೋಮಾಳ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿ ಖರಾಬು ಆಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು 1993-94ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗಷ್ಟೇ ಡಿ.ವಿ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಬಿನ್ ಡಿ. ವೀರಭದ್ರಪ್ಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೆ.ಎನ್. ಹರೀಶ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಿನ್ ನಂಜುಂಡಯ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವವರು, ಮಂಗಮ್ಮ, ಭಾಗ್ಯಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿದ್ದಪ್ಪ ಎಂಬ ತಮಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿಲ್ಲದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಕಲಿ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ 4 ಎಕರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ, ಈ ನಕಲಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಆಧರಿಸಿ ಭೂ ಖರೀದಿ ಪತ್ರವೂ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಹಸೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಯಾವುದೇ ಸ್ಥಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸದೇ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಅನುಮತಿ ಪಡೆಯದೇ, ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಗಂಭೀರ ಆರೋಪವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯದಿಂದ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಭೂ ಪರಭಾರೆಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಟರಾಜ್ ಜೆ.ಎನ್. ಅವರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದರು.

ತಮ್ಮಿಂದ ನಿಜವಾದ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ತಹಸೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಕಚೇರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ, ದಾಖಲೆ ನೀಡದೆ ವಿಳಂಬ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಭೂಮಿಅಕ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ನಕಲಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಹಾಕುವ ಸಂಚು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಶಂಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಇತ್ತ, ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು, ನಕಲಿ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ, ಭೂಅಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಮ, ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮರುವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅವನವರು ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ಶೀಘ್ರ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಹೋರಾಟ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂಬ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

இன்று காலை 10:00 மணிக்கு, பெங்களூருவில் உள்ள அரசு தலைமைவசதியில், “அஹிந்தா” இயக்கத்தின் கிரிஸ்தவ சமூக தலைவர்கள் கர்நாடக மாநில முதல்வர் திரு சித்தராமையாவை நேரில் சந்தித்து, கிரிஸ்தவ சமூகத்தின் நலனுக்காக முக்கிய கோரிக்கைகளை வலியுறுத்தி, அதிகாரப்பூர்வமான மனுவொன்றை சமர்ப்பித்தனர்.

முக்கிய கோரிக்கைகள்:

1. மதம் மாறிய எஸ்சி சமூகங்களுக்கு பகுதி–1 வகை தொடர வேண்டும்:
கிறிஸ்துவ மதத்தை ஏற்ற எஸ்சி சமூகங்கள் தற்போது பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட வகைகளின் பட்டியலில் பகுதி-1 ஆக உள்ளன. இந்த வகைக்கு ‘கேனே படரா’ சலுகை உள்ளது. எனவே, இவை தொடர்ச்சியாக பகுதி-1-இல் அடங்க வேண்டும் என அவர்கள் கோரிக்கை வைத்தனர்.


2. கிறிஸ்தவ சமூகத்திற்கான புதிய வகைப்பாடு தேவை:
தற்போது கிறிஸ்தவ சமூகம் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட வகைகளின் பட்டியலில் பகுதி-III(B)-இல் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால் இதில் உள்ள பிற சமூகங்கள் பொருளாதார, கல்வி, அரசியல் மற்றும் சமூக ரீதியாக முன்னேறிய நிலையில் உள்ளன. இதனால் கிறிஸ்தவ சமூகம் போட்டியிட முடியாமல் பின்னடைந்துள்ளது. எனவே, பகுதி-III(B) மற்றும் III(A)-இலிருந்து கிறிஸ்தவ சமூகத்தை நீக்கி, மற்ற ஒத்த பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட சமூகங்களுடன் சேர்க்க வேண்டும் என்றனர்.

முன்வைக்கப்பட்ட கோரிக்கைகளை அரசு கவனத்தில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு பரிசீலனை செய்யும் என முதல்வர் திரு சித்தராமையா அவர்கள் உறுதியளித்ததாக, குழுவினர் தெரிவித்தனர்.

Christian Leaders from “AHINDA” Meet Chief Minister; Submit Memorandum on Community Welfare

A delegation of Christian community leaders associated with the “AHINDA” movement met Honourable Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah at his official residence in Bengaluru today at 10:00 AM. The purpose of the meeting was to present a memorandum outlining key demands pertaining to the social and economic welfare of the Christian community.

Key Demands Submitted:

1. Continuation of Category-I Status for Converted SC Communities:
Communities that have embraced Christianity but originally belong to the Scheduled Castes are currently classified under Category-I of the Backward Classes list, which provides for ‘Kene Padara’ (creamy layer) exemption. The delegation requested the government to continue this classification in order to ensure sustained access to social justice and benefits.


2. Reclassification of the Christian Community in the Backward Classes List:
The Christian community is presently listed under Category III(B) of the Backward Classes. However, other castes within this group are significantly advanced in economic, political, educational, and social aspects, making it difficult for Christians to compete on equal footing. Therefore, the delegation urged the government to reclassify the Christian community by removing it from Categories III(A) and III(B) and placing it with other homogenous and socially backward groups. This, they emphasized, would foster better opportunities for development and inclusion.



Honourable Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah is said to have assured the delegation that the demands would be taken into serious consideration.

1. ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮತಾಂತರ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-1 ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು:
ಈ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳು ಈಗಿರುವ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-1ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದು, ‘ಕೆನೆಪದರ’ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಹತೆಯಿದೆ. ಸಮಾಜದ ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-1ರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುವಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮನವಿಗೆಳೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.


2. ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಪುನರ್ವರ್ಗೀಕರಣದ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆ:
ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಹಾಲಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯ ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-III(B)ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಗುಂಪಿನ ಇತರ ಜಾತಿಗಳು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಲು ನಾನಾ ಅಡಚಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಈ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವರ್ಗ-III(A) ಮತ್ತು III(B)ಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಗಿಟ್ಟು, ಇತರ ಸಮಾನ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Asha Enterprises: Geetakavya Ventures Launches Self-Help Group to Empower Rural Women Through Sustainable Incense Production

Bengaluru, Karnataka — In a significant step toward rural empowerment and environmental sustainability, Geetakavya Ventures, founded by Geetha Velapil and Kavya Ramakanth, has inaugurated its first self-help group, Asha Enterprises. The launch ceremony was graced by P. Sashidhar, Senior Assistant Director (Retd.), Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), New Delhi.

Asha Enterprises is a collective of rural women artisans engaged in the production of handcrafted, all-natural incense sticks and dhoopa cones. The initiative seeks to promote eco-friendly practices while providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to women from underserved communities.

The concept for Asha Enterprises emerged from the vision of Geetha Velapil, also the founder of Handcraft Studio Academy, who has long championed the empowerment of women through skill-based training. Identifying latent talent within rural areas, she initiated training programs aimed at reviving traditional incense-making techniques and generating local employment.

One of the earliest participants, Asha Sudhir, discovered her passion for incense crafting through the program. Under Velapil’s mentorship, she progressed to become a senior trainer and has since trained more than 200 women from various rural regions. Her contribution has played a pivotal role in spreading the craft and fostering economic self-reliance among many families.

Asha Enterprises is distinguished by its commitment to sustainability and zero-waste practices. The artisans repurpose discarded flowers collected from temples, weddings, and community events—floral waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. These flowers are carefully dried and processed into fragrant materials used in the production of incense and dhoopa.

Each stage of the process—from collection and curing to hand-rolling and packaging—is carried out using traditional methods by skilled women artisans. This ensures not only high-quality products but also the preservation of heritage techniques and the creation of dignified employment within the community.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. P. Sashidhar commended the initiative, stating, “Asha Enterprises is a remarkable example of how traditional skills, when nurtured through structured training and vision, can lead to meaningful socio-economic change.”

With its holistic approach to empowerment, sustainability, and cultural preservation, Asha Enterprises serves as a replicable model for grassroots entrepreneurship. The initiative stands as a testament to the transformative impact of combining community-driven efforts with environmentally conscious practices.
