ರೈತರು ಸಾಲಬಾಧೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸಹಾಯ, ಸಾಲ ಮನ್ನಾ, ಕಡಿಮೆ ಬಡ್ಡಿದರದ ಸಾಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಳೆ ವಿಮೆಯಂತಹ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು. ಸಾಲದ ಒತ್ತಡದಿಂದ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೀಡಾದ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡದೇ ಹೋದರೆ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುವ ಅಪಾಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೃಷಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಾಧಾನ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ಗಳು ರೈತರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಖಾತರಿಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ರೈತರ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಲಮುಕ್ತ ಜೀವನ ಅವರ ಹಕ್ಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅರಿತು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಜಿ.ಎಸ್. ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ರಾಜ್ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
