ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 26, 2025: ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್. ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ “ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ತಳಿ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ದ ಆಡಳಿತ” ಕುರಿತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವು ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದೀಯ ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಈ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಥಿತಿಯಾಗಿ ಎ.ಬಿ.ಎಲ್.ಇ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (A.B.L.E Bangalore) ಯ ಜನರಲ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಡಾ.ಎಸ್. ಬಾಲಸುಬ್ರಮಣ್ಯ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ವಕ್ತವ್ಯ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದೀಯ ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. (ಡಾ.) ಸಿ.ಎಸ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದೀಯ ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಡಾ. ರೇವಯ್ಯ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್. ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ. (ಡಾ.) ಅನಿತಾ ಎಫ್ ಎನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Whitefield Art Collective Inaugurates Its Eighth Edition with the Theme ‘Future is Now’

Bengaluru, March 27, 2025: The eighth edition of the Whitefield Art Collective was inaugurated today at VR Bengaluru, Whitefield. Supported by the Yuj Foundation, the month-long art festival carries the theme ‘Future is Now’, encouraging dialogue on art’s evolving role in society. Ms. Alison Barrett MBE, Director India, British Council, inaugurated the event, which featured the unveiling of the Kala Car by LGBTQ+ activist and artist Kalki Subramaniam, followed by a Veena recital by maestro Rajesh Vaidhya and a classical dance performance by Srishti Nritya Kala Kuteera students.

A Global Artistic Collaboration

The festival showcases an eclectic mix of art installations, sculptures, paintings, photography, film, puppetry, and interactive workshops. Collaborators include UNESCO, the British Council, the New York-based Arts for the Future Festival, as well as Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore University, and Bangalore School of Design.

UNESCO’s Tim Curtis underscored the significance of gender inclusivity in STEM through the A Braided River publication and exhibition. Additionally, the Climate Science Literacy exhibition presents posters aimed at simplifying climate science for the general public. “Building climate literacy is key to preparing communities for the realities of a changing world,” Curtis stated.

A special collaboration with the Chennai Photo Biennale introduces the Hey! Exhibition, featuring works by neurodivergent and differently-abled artists. Other highlights include:
