Bengaluru, March 13, 2025: The ST PAULS National Media Awards (SPNMA) 2025, recognizing outstanding contributions in journalism, broadcasting, digital media, and communication, will be held on March 14, 2025, at 4:00 PM at ST PAULS Auditorium, Nagasandra, Bengaluru. Organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, ST PAULS College, in association with the Karnataka Media Academy, Government of Karnataka, this annual event celebrates media professionals who uphold truth, integrity, and social responsibility.

Backed by the Society of St Paul, a global media-driven organization with a 111-year legacy (1914-2025), the SPNMA aims to inspire excellence in the field of communication.

Lifetime Achievement Award & Excellence in Public Relations – Shri M.B. Jayaram, Chairman Emeritus of PRCI, for his leadership in public relations.

Bengaluru, March 13: In a major breakthrough for genetic research and regenerative medicine, Dr. Agarwal Hospitals & Gene Research Foundation inaugurated the state-of-the-art Inverted Phase Contrast Microscope, designed for DNA micron manipulation and live cell imaging. Speaking at the event, Dr. Sunita Rana Agarwal, President of Gene Research Foundation & Dr. Agarwal Hospitals, highlighted the significance of the new technology in targeted genetic treatments. SPARSH Hospital Marks World Kidney Day by Raising Awareness about the Disease, Organ Donation, and Transplants

Bengaluru, March 13, 2025: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is emerging as a major health concern in India, with a rising number of cases linked to diabetes, hypertension, and lifestyle factors. To address this growing issue, SS SPARSH Hospital, RR Nagar (Mysore Road), observed World Kidney Day 2025 by hosting an awareness event with organ receivers. The event focused on prevention, early diagnosis, honouring donors, experience sharing by organ receivers, and the role of kidney transplants in saving lives.

Nearly 29 transplant recipients attended the event, sharing their emotional experiences of battling kidney disease and how the procedure has helped them to get a new life.
