ಕೆಂಧೂಳಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ 200 ನೇ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಜಾತಿಯಿಂದ ನೋಡುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಹಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವಿತ್ತು ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಬಂಡಾಯ ಬರಹಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಜಾಗವಿತ್ತು ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಜಾತಿಯಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ..ಈ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿರುವುದೆ ಮಠಾದೀಶರು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳಿಂದ ಎಂದು ಬೇಸರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಓಟನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ
ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿ ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನರ ಜೊತೆ ಹಿಂದುಗಳು ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದೆಂದು ಫರ್ಮಾನು ಹೊರಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದೇಶದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬ್ರಿಟೀಷರ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನರೂ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ಎಂದರು.
ಮುದ್ರಣ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದಂತಾಗಿದೆ,ಒಂದು ಪಕ್ಷ,ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ದುರಂತ,ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುದ್ರಣ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು  ತನ್ನ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಪಟ್ಟರು.
ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ನಂತರ ವಾರ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು ಎನ್ನುವಾಗಲೇ ಕೆಂಧೂಳಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ,ಯಾರಪರವೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೈದ್ಧಾಂತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಜನಪರವಾಗಿವ ಇಂತ ಕಾಲಘಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲೂ ನಿಂತಿರುವುದು ತುರುವನೂರು ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ವೃತ್ತಿಗೆ ಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕೆಂಧೂಳಿ ವಾರ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ನೂರು ವಸಂತಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಲಿ,  ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು  ಚಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು  ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರ ,ದುಷ್ಟರ ಧೂಳು ಜಾಡಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು,ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗೆ ಚಂದಾದಾರರು ಜಾಸ್ತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಖಾಸಗಿಯವರು ಜಾಹಿರಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದರು.

ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ಕೆ.ವಿ.ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ್ ಕೆಂಧೂಳಿ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳು ಆತಂಕದಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಟಿ.ವಿ.ಹಾವಳಿಯ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಓದುಗರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಾ ನಂತರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮವಿತ್ತು. ಮುದ್ರಣ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸ್ವಂತಿಕೆ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕೆಂಧೂಳಿ ವಾರಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಧೂಳೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ, ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಇಂದಿನ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕು. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ ಸರಿದಾರಿಗೆ ತರುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.


ಹಿರಿಯ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಹೂಗಾರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಟಿ.ವಿ.ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾರವಾಹಿ, ಬಿಗ್‍ಬಾಸ್ ನೋಡುವವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ನೋಡುವವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮ ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲಾ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಂತಲ್ಲ. ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ವಿಪರ್ಯಾಸವೆಂದರೆ. ಈಗಿನ ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರೀಕರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಮುದ್ರಣ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಘನತೆ ದಿನೆ ದಿನೆ ಕುಗ್ಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಸಾರ ಕುಸಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಜನರ, ಓದುಗರ ಪರವಾಗಿರುವ ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಆರ್ ಜಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ,ಮುದ್ರಣ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಇಂದು ತನ್ನತನವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಹಾದಿ ತಪ್ಪಿದ್ದರೂ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ ಆದರೆ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾಗಳ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ವೃತ್ತಿಯ ವದ್ದತೆಯನ್ನೇ ಕಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಕಳವಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿದಿದರು.

ವಸತಿ ಸಚಿವರ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸಲಹೆ ಗಾರ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿನಾರಾಯಣ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ನಡೆಸುವುದು ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾಗಿರುವ ಇಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಂಧೂಳಿ ವಾರ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ತನ್ನದೆ ಆದ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟತೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲಭವನದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಬಿ.ಆರ್,ನಾಯ್ಡು,

Hon’ble Vice-President of India launches the 50th Mobile Medical Clinic by Aster Volunteers

* The new mobile clinics will provide free medical care to underserved populations in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, and Kalaburagi in Karnataka
*The launch is part of an initiative by Aster Volunteers to focus on providing medical care to marginalized communities in the North India region.
* Aster Volunteers Mobile Clinics through its global network of 50 units across India, the Middle East, and Africa, can benefit at least 1 million people annually getting free health support services.

Bangalore, January 3, 2025: Aster Volunteers, the global CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) arm of Aster DM Healthcare, launched two IoT-enhanced Mobile Medical Clinics with Tele-Medicine Services to provide free medical care to underserved populations in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, and Kalaburagi in Karnataka, which will take the total number of Mobile Clinics by Aster Volunteers to 50.



The units were flagged off by the Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, in the presence of Ms. Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, Mr. Anoop Moopen, Director of Aster DM Healthcare Ltd and Mr TJ Wilson, Executive Director & Group Head – Corporate Governance, Aster DM Healthcare Ltd. Prabal Pratap Singh Tomar, Vice President of the Indian Lawn Tennis Association & Delhi President of Mixed Martial Arts, who has agreed to volunteer, will extend his support to further help this initiative reach the rural areas across the country. The launch is an important step in an ongoing initiative by Aster Volunteers, aimed at improving access to medical care for marginalized communities across the North India region and beyond.



The new mobile units are custom built on Ashok Leyland Mitr 7 meter long Chassis, equipped with IoT-integrated telemedicine services, and essential facilities such as a patient waiting area and registration desk, vital data collection desk, basic mini lab with refrigerated storage, safe storage of medicine and dispensing facility, consultation Room for General Practitioner, Specialist and Super-Specialist tele-consultation facility (IoT Integrated), large size TV for health education and awareness programs, and expandable awning for outdoor shade, significantly enhancing healthcare accessibility. The mobile clinics also have air conditioning, infection control mechanisms, and Wi-Fi connectivity and can navigate remote village roads, thereby reaching marginalized communities. These mobile clinics are part of Aster DM Healthcare CSR efforts in India, undertaken in strategic partnership with Ashok Leyland.



Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services (AVMMS) is a one-of-a-kind CSR initiative by Aster Volunteers, backed by Aster DM Foundation, aimed at bridging the gap in healthcare accessibility by providing free medical camps and disaster aid support to needy communities in remote areas. The 50 Mobile Clinics have been achieved over a period of 12 years and increasing its networks gradually. These units are deployed across India, Middle East & Africa Regions and other South Asian countries like Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka and Nepal, will be able to benefit at least 1 million people per annum from the FY 2025-26 period onwards.



Currently, 31 Mobile Clinic by Aster Volunteers across India are present in various places in states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Odisha, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, UP, Bihar. West Bengal Jammu & Kashmir and upcoming are in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh. Aster Volunteers planning to add 10 more units in the year 2025, a good number of that shall benefit people across North India Region, as part of their commitment towards making healthcare accessible and affordable.

ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜನತೆಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂಬಿಗ, ಮೀನುಗಾರ. ಕಬ್ಬಲಿಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಮೀನುಗಾರ ಸಮಾಜದ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ಆಗಮಿಸಲು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವೀ ಗೊಳಿಸಲು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.

Recently there have been some media reports about a particular case in the city of Belagavi. In this case, the reports seemingly indicates that Equitas has removed certain family members including a child in a high handed manner and taken possession of a property mortgaged to the Bank.

We regret deeply the inconvenience caused to the customer and their family members due to the execution of the Court order. We will be in touch with the customer to ensure that they are not put to any hardship, while also enabling them to meet their financial commitments to the Bank.

The reality is that this account has been in NPA for about a year and a half. In the recovery case filed by the Bank, there has been no representation from the borrower. The Bank, as per its normal practice of helping out customers who are in arrears, offered certain settlement terms which include typically interest waivers and in deserving cases, a part of principle waiver also.

However, there was no progress in the case either for normal payment or settlement, leaving the Bank with no option but to approach the Court. The Court appointed a Commissioner to take possession of the property which was executed by the Commissioner.

Equitas remains committed to helping, to the best of our abilities and within the regulatory framework, all our borrowers. Accordingly in this case, as much as in other such cases, the Bank is always open for settlements and restructuring to help customers come back out of their defaults.

Equitas is very humane Bank. During the first wave of COVID, almost 97% of the borrowers of Equitas availed Moratorium, which is probably amongst the highest by any Bank in the country. And in wave two, we had restructured loans worth about ₹ 2,000 cr for hundreds of thousands of customers, whose source of income had been affected during COVID.

In this particular instance also, we will work with our customer to bring about an amicable solution and ensuring the dignity and well-being of the customer and their family members.
