ಗುಡಿಮಲ್ಲಂನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಪರುಶುರಾಮೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಸ್ವರ್ಣ ಮುಖಿ ನದಿಯ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿರುವ 2600 ವರ್ಷಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹಳೆಯದಾದ ವಿಶ್ವಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ದೇವಾಲಯವಾಗಿದೆ. 

ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಏಕಶಿಲೆಯ (ಏಕ-ಶಿಲಾ) ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೊಬಗನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದೆ, ಇದು “ತ್ರಿ-ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳು” – ಯಕ್ಷರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ’, ಪರಶುರಾಮ ಅವತಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ವಿಷ್ಣು’ ಮತ್ತು ಪುರುಷ ಲಿಂಗ ಆಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಭಗವಾನ್ ಶಿವ’ ಅನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ದೇವಾಲಯದ ವೈಭವವು ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗೋಪುರದ ರಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ, ಇದನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ‘ಶಿವಲಿಂಗ’ ಮತ್ತು ‘ಗಜ ಪುಷ್ಟಿ’ ಆಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ದೇವರು ನೆಲಮಟ್ಟದಿಂದ 6.0″ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇದೆ, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಗ್ರಾಮವನ್ನು ‘ಗುಡಿಪಳ್ಳಂ’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರ ಕಾಲಾನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ‘ಗುಡಿಮಲ್ಲಂ’ ಆಯಿತು.

60 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಣಮುಖಿ ನದಿಯ ನೀರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ದೇವತೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ.  ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 4, 2005 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಯಾತ್ರಿಕರು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.

ಟೆಂಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ನಂಬಲಾಗದ ಘಟನೆಯೆಂದರೆ, ಉತ್ತರದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ (ಉತ್ತರಾಯಣಂ) ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ (ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಯನಂ) ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಕಿರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಭಗವಂತನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಖ್ಯ ದೇವತೆಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆವರಣವು ಶ್ರೀ ಆನಂದವಲ್ಲಿ (ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಮಠ), ಶ್ರೀ ವಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಸೇನಾ- ಸುಬ್ರಮಣಯ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಭಗವಾನ್ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಿಂದ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಇಚ್ಛೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ, ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಭಕ್ತರು ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಗವಂತನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಶುರಾಮೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

கர்பாலயம் சிவலிங்க வடிவத்திலும், கோபுரம் யானை வடிவத்திலும் இருப்பது விசேஷம். மூலவிராட் பூமியின் புறபரப்லிருந்து ஆறு அடிகள் பள்ளத்தில் உள்ளமையால் குடிபள்ளம் என்ற இருக்கிராமம் நாளடைவில் குடிமள்ளம் என அழைக்கப்பட்டது.

அறுபது ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை சுவர்னமுகி நதிதீர்த்தம் சுவாமியை தொடுகிறது அவ்வாறாக 2005, டிசம்பர் 4 ஆம் தேதி இதுபோன்று தண்ணீர் சுவாமியை அபிஷேகித்தது. உத்தராயனத் திலிருந்து தக்ஷணாயத்திற்கு மாறும்போது சூரிய கதிர்கள் மூலவிராட்டை தொடுகின்றன.

ஸ்ரீ ஆனந்த வள்ளியாக (பார்வதி தேவி), ஸ்ரீவள்ளி மற்றும் தேவயானையுடன் சுப்பிரமணிய சுவாமியும் மேலும் சூர்ய பகவானின் ஆலயங்களும் இதே வளாகத்தில் அற்புதமாக எழுந்தறிளியுள்ளன. பக்தர்களின் கோரிக்கைளை தீர்க்கும் அற்புத தெய்வமாக உள்ளதால் இக்கோவிலுக்கு வெவ்வேறு மாநிலங்களிலிருந்து வந்து பக்தர்கள் இறைவனின் அருளை பெறுகின்றனர்.

THE FIRST SHIVALAY IN INDIA SRI PARASURAMESWARA SWAMY DEVASTHANAM – GUDIMALLAM

Sri Parusurameswara Swamy Temple in Gudimallam is a 2600 year old world renowned an- cient temple located on the banks of River Swarna Mukhi. The temple ornate the elegance in single-stone (Eka-Sila) statue which portrays “Thri-Murthies” – ‘Lord Brahma’ in Yaksha Roopam, ‘Lord Vishnu’ in Parasurama Avataram And ‘Lord Shiva’ in Purusha Linga akaaram.

The magnificence of the temple lies in the structure of Sanctum Sanctorum and the Gopuram, built in the shapes of ‘Shiva Lingam’ and ‘Gaja Pushti’ respectively.

The Main Deity of the Temple is located 6.0″ below the ground level, as such the village is termed as ‘Gudipallam’ and later on, by passage of time, it be- came ‘Gudimallam’.

It is believed that once in 60-years the waters of River Swarnamukhi touches the Main Deity. Innumer- able pilgrims witnesseded the happening, in the recent past, on 4th of December, 2005.

The Most Incredible occurrence in the Tempie is that the Sun tekes the blessings of the Main Deity by focusing his rays on Lord’s feet during the transition from Northernly-path (Utharayanam) to Southernly- path (Dakshinayanam)
