BIS Bengaluru Hosts Sangam – 78th Independence Day, Tiranga Mela at Rangoli Gardens

Bengaluru; The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Bengaluru has successfully hosted the Sangam – Tiranga Mela at Rangoli Gardens, a distinguished cultural heritage site within the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Rural Energy and Development, Government of Karnataka. The event, held on 15/08/2024, on the occassion of 78th Independence Day . The day was marked by the participation of various artisans and flag makers who showcased Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage through their stalls.

The event was themed around “Har Ghar Tiranga,” and included a dedicated selfie booth to further engage the approximately 2000 attendees. This initiative highlighted BIS’s commitment to promoting cultural values while ensuring quality.

Shri Ganesh V, Chief Operating Officer of Rangoli Gardens, lauded BIS for its efforts in reaching out to the public and providing a significant platform for artisans. He commended the event for successfully conveying the message of a culture enriched with quality.

ಈ ದಿನ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ “ಪೂರ್ವಾರಾಧನೆ” ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜಯನಗರದ ಐದನೇ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವಾ ಸುಪ್ರಭಾತ  ನಾದಸ್ವರ ವಾದ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಬೃಂದಾವನಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಚಕರಿಂದ  ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಹಾಲು (ಮೊಸರು) ಮಜ್ಜಿಗೆ, ತುಪ್ಪ ,ಜೇನುತುಪ್ಪ, ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಎಳೆನೀರು, ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ನಾನಾ ಬಗೆಯ ಫಲಗಳಿಂದ ಫಲ ಪಂಚಾಮೃತ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ ವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಅಷ್ಟೋತ್ತರ ಪಾರಾಯಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ  ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ಆ  ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಠದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆರ್,ಕೆ ವಾದಿಂದ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು, ಜಿ , ಕೆ ಆಚಾರ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ  ನಂದಕಿಶೋರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು “ಲೋಕ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ” ಗುರು ರಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ  ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ  ಸ್ವರ್ಣ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರಿಗೆ ಪಾದಪೂಜೆ  ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು, ಭಕ್ತರು ಕೂಡ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾದಪೂಜೆ ಫಲ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು,  ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ  ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಬೃಂದಾವನಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಗಂಧ ದ್ರವ್ಯ ನಾನಾ ವಿಧವಾದ ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಶ್ರೀ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಸಹಸ್ರಾರು ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನಸಂತರ್ಪಣೆಯು   ನೆರವೇರಿತು, ಗುರು ರಾಯರ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾದ ಕ್ಯೂ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ಪ್ರಸಾದಕ್ಕೂ ಕ್ಯೂ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕ ವಯೋವೃದ್ಧರಿಗೂ  ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಕ್ಯೂ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ,  ಈ ದಿನ ಸಂಜೆ “ಪ್ರವಚನ” ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ‘ರಜತ – ಸ್ವರ್ಣ -ಲೇಪಿತ ಗಜವಾಹನ ಉತ್ಸವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಜೆ 7 ಕ್ಕೆ “ದಾಸ-ಲಹರಿ” ವಿದ್ವಾನ್- ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯ ವೃಂದ  ದಿಂದಗಾಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಜರುಗಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ರಾಯರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ  ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತರ, ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ, ಸಹಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯ ಶ್ರೀಗಳ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದಿಂದ, ಆರ್ ಕೆ ವಾದಿಂದ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರುತ್ತಿದೆ.

The members of VCN Doctors Welfare Association condemn the brutal act of sexual assault and murder of our colleague in Kolkata and also assault on the peaceful protestors in RG Kar medical college premises and total apathy of the law enforcement agencies when this assault and destruction of Emergency room of RG Kar medical college hospital.

Demand

1. All people involved in these violence are arrested and brought to justice

2. Better working conditions and security for the health care workers in all health care facilities-government, private clinics, corporate or charitable institutions. 3. We demand a central law to deal with any violence in health care institutions.

4, we demand all law enforcement agencies to be accountable for the enforcement of the law to protect health care workers in their workplace so that we can carry out our duties without any fear.

5. To provide proper security in all health care institutions by the management and the authorities and they should be held accountable in cases of lapses in the security system 6. We request the general public to show patience and support the health care workers in their rightful demand for safety and dignity in our workplace

7. we request media to create awareness about the plight of healthcare workers and highlight the importance of having safe and secure environment for the health care workers to ensure proper care of the patients and society at large

8. we request our representatives of the people to highlight the dangers being faced by healthcare workers and help bringing in effective enforcement of legislation to protect the health care workers

9. we do not want to put our patients health in danger so all emergency and essential healthcare services are continuing even when we are on strike

10. We request our general public to show empathy when your healthcare workers are facing such brutality and join hands with us to demand our safety so that we can take care of you with our best of the abilities.

11. we demand safe working environments for all students particularly women students in all medical, nursing, para medical colleges with separate duty rooms and safe and hygienic restrooms, proper functioning CCTV surveillance of corridors.

12. we demand sensitive handling of all the grievances of the students and staff in all the medical, nursing and paramedical institutions.
