கர்பாலயம் சிவலிங்க வடிவத்திலும், கோபுரம் யானை வடிவத்திலும் இருப்பது விசேஷம். மூலவிராட் பூமியின் புறபரப்லிருந்து ஆறு அடிகள் பள்ளத்தில் உள்ளமையால் குடிபள்ளம் என்ற இருக்கிராமம் நாளடைவில் குடிமள்ளம் என அழைக்கப்பட்டது.
அறுபது ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை சுவர்னமுகி நதிதீர்த்தம் சுவாமியை தொடுகிறது அவ்வாறாக 2005, டிசம்பர் 4 ஆம் தேதி இதுபோன்று தண்ணீர் சுவாமியை அபிஷேகித்தது. உத்தராயனத் திலிருந்து தக்ஷணாயத்திற்கு மாறும்போது சூரிய கதிர்கள் மூலவிராட்டை தொடுகின்றன.
ஸ்ரீ ஆனந்த வள்ளியாக (பார்வதி தேவி), ஸ்ரீவள்ளி மற்றும் தேவயானையுடன் சுப்பிரமணிய சுவாமியும் மேலும் சூர்ய பகவானின் ஆலயங்களும் இதே வளாகத்தில் அற்புதமாக எழுந்தறிளியுள்ளன. பக்தர்களின் கோரிக்கைளை தீர்க்கும் அற்புத தெய்வமாக உள்ளதால் இக்கோவிலுக்கு வெவ்வேறு மாநிலங்களிலிருந்து வந்து பக்தர்கள் இறைவனின் அருளை பெறுகின்றனர்.

Sri Parusurameswara Swamy Temple in Gudimallam is a 2600 year old world renowned an- cient temple located on the banks of River Swarna Mukhi. The temple ornate the elegance in single-stone (Eka-Sila) statue which portrays “Thri-Murthies” – ‘Lord Brahma’ in Yaksha Roopam, ‘Lord Vishnu’ in Parasurama Avataram And ‘Lord Shiva’ in Purusha Linga akaaram.

It is believed that once in 60-years the waters of River Swarnamukhi touches the Main Deity. Innumer- able pilgrims witnesseded the happening, in the recent past, on 4th of December, 2005.

Bangalore / November 05, 2024: Alliance University has introduced a two-year Master of Performing Arts program designed to equip students with both artistic and managerial skills. Through a meticulously crafted pedagogy designed to enrich performing arts education in India, the programme covers philosophy, tradition, values, art, science, culture, and religions of India-contributing to holistic development in all areas. Students also have the flexibility to choose elective options in classical dance, including Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi and Carnatic Vocal.
The curriculum is designed to train students to master the business aspects of art management & legal frameworks relevant to the industry. The students will also develop media and communication skills, enabling them to create promotional materials and excel in public speaking and digital media. Integrating a holistic approach to well-being, the program includes courses focused on promoting wellness, and effective stress management techniques. To qualify for the program, applicants must hold an undergraduate degree or its equivalent, alongside a minimum of eight years of professional experience in dance or possess a recognized graduate degree with relevant examination certifications.
On addressing the need for this program, Dr. Sruthy Chandrasekhar, Head of Alliance School of Performing, Visual and Creative Arts expressed, “Many talented artists struggle with the business side of the industry and lack proper certification. Our Master of Performing Arts program addresses these challenges by equipping students with essential artistic skills and tools for successful careers. This program, particularly beneficial for women dancers, enhances their quality of life and provides sustainable income sources. Students will learn to promote the arts in diverse contexts through collaborations with international universities that showcase Indian performing arts, while also benefiting from international dance programs at the university that ensure a curriculum meeting global standards.” The course provides foundational training in lighting, makeup, and stage production, empowering students to become self-reliant artists. Additionally, the university offers specialized research training, coaching for competitive exams, and career guidance to prepare students for a wide range of roles in the performing arts industry, such as research fellow, art manager, entrepreneur, technician, designer, choreographer, composer, art critic, writer, and performing arts manager. In addition to the master’s program, Alliance University also offers a one-year Diploma in Performing Arts since 2012, making it the first private institution in South India to provide this qualification. The Master’s program collaborates with renowned cultural festivals, including the Surya Festival, Nishagandhi Festival, Konark Festival, and Khajuraho Festival of Dances, providing students with valuable exposure and networking opportunities. Admissions for the program will open is open with 60 seats available. Currently, 44 students are enrolled in the Diploma course.
