ಜೂನ್ 7ರಂದು ನಗರದ ಶಾಂಗ್ರಿ-ಲಾ ಹೊಟೇಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಅತಿ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನವೀನವಾದ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ನಾಯಕರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಚಾರ ವಿನಿಮಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವರು ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಮುಖರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಚಾರ ವಿನಿಯಮ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದರ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಭಾರತದ ಸಿಲಿಕಾನ್ ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುವ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ಸಿಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಐಟಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳ ದಿಗ್ಗಜರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪಾಲುದಾರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಜ್ಞರು ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

India Poised to Win in the Global AI Revolution, SenseAI Whitepaper and Startup Survey Reveal
6th June, 2024 – SenseAI Ventures, a leading AI fund, today announced the launch of a whitepaper, “Artificial Intelligence: Beyond the Hype,” and the results of a survey of Indian AI startup founders. The whitepaper explores crucial topics such as AI’s progress in 2023, its tangible effects on industries, the layered AI technology stack, novel research directions, and adoption models, serving as a roadmap for understanding AI’s current and future trajectory. One of the key revelations is that SaaS (Software as a Service) has emerged as the dominant business model among the surveyed startups, indicating a growing preference for cloud-based AI solutions. The survey also highlights a moderate demand for customized AI solutions among the clients of these startups, suggesting an increasing recognition of AI’s potential to address specific business needs.
However, the survey also sheds light on the challenges in AI adoption. The most common hurdles faced by clients, as reported by the respondents, include cost, complexity, and limited understanding of AI’s implications. These findings underscore the need for more accessible and user-friendly AI solutions, as well as better education and awareness about AI’s potential benefits and risks.
In terms of the technologies utilized by the surveyed startups, Cloud takes the lead, followed closely by OpenAI’s GPT-4o. This indicates a growing reliance on cloud infrastructure and large language models in AI development. Interestingly, the respondents also highlighted Fine Tuned Models / Proprietary Algorithms and Unique Data as their most critical intellectual properties or unique features, emphasizing the importance of customization and domain-specific expertise in AI.
Looking ahead, the survey respondents identified security, bias, and data availability/readiness as the most significant risks associated with AI. These concerns reflect the broader societal and ethical challenges that come with the rapid advancement of AI technologies. On a more optimistic note, the respondents singled out Explainable AI (XAI), AI agents, and Quantum Computing as the emerging technologies and trends that can create the most impact in the future.
The whitepaper and survey also underscore the transformative potential of AI across various sectors. Investment in AI within healthcare is projected to reach $18.8 billion by 2027, highlighting AI’s critical role in diagnostic and analytical applications. The AI fraud management sector is forecasted to grow from a $10.4 billion valuation in 2023 to $57.1 billion by 2033, with an annual growth rate of 18.5%, underscoring AI’s increasing importance in financial security. The expanding capabilities and decreasing costs of AI signal a surge in AI applications, poised to redefine productivity and transform job markets. Research indicates that AI-adopting firms are on track to double their market share, with efficiency gains potentially reaching tenfold by 2024.

Bengaluru, 27 May 2024 – The Council for Active Mobility (CFAM) and the German Development Agency (GIZ) are thrilled to announce Pedaluru 2024, an annual cycling event in Bengaluru celebrating World Bicycle Day. Scheduled for June 9, 2024, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, this event alms to promote health, sustainability, and active mobility in the city.
Pedaluru 2024 is set to bring together around 500 cyclists from across Bengaluru. This non-commercial event is organised with the support of Bengaluru’s Bicycle Mayor, Mr. Sathya Sankaran. Chief guests for the event include Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) Commissioner MN Anucheth, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, and Daniel Moser, India Transport Director, GIZ India.
Pedaluru is a citizen-driven, not-for-profit event aimed at galvanising the cycling community for a show of strength to broadly achieve 3 main goals:
Plan: Work with the city govt to have cycling be an integral part of our NMT policy, support BMLTA to come into effect and enhance road-share for safe cycling in the city.
Engage: Engage with the cyclists of the city, with citizen groups, civic activists and corporates to adopt cycling as an ideal option for commute. Campaigns through social media and on-ground activations to encourage cycling in the city.
Build: Advocacy and design for better cycling infrastructure, enforce traffic laws for cyclist safety and make Bengaluru the cycling capital of the country. Work closely with govt agencies such as: DULT, BBMP, BMRCL, K-Rail, Bengaluru Smart City etc to achieve above goals.
Key initiatives include:
Annual Festival: Establishing Pedaluru as Bengaluru’s signature event for promoting cycling.
