National, 10th March 2024: MyThali, a program of Arogya World, organized the “Run In Red” event at Shalini Grounds, Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru, in honor of International Women’s Day. The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of women’s heart health, acknowledging women as the heart of the family.
The event witnessed hundreds of enthusiastic Bangaloreans from all walks of life, gathered for a 3km Walk-Jog-Run walkathon, wearing red to show unity and support for women’s heart health. The event provided an opportunity to raise awareness about a crucial topic that is frequently disregarded in our culture.
In addition to the walkathon, “Run In Red” provided participants with free health screening, professional advice on heart health and fitness, a dynamic warm-up & cool down workout session, and a delicious organic breakfast. Participants were also able to speak with healthcare professionals and fitness experts to learn more about maintaining a healthy heart.

ತಮಗೆಲ್ಲ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ವಾಯು ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಚಾಲಿತ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ತರಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದನ್ನುದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲೆಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು, ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಚಾಲಕ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣನಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿತು.
ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಸಹ 2021 ಜುಲೈನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದವು. ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ ಎಂಬುದು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಕಪಿಮುಷ್ಠಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ರೂಪಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ನೆಲಗುದಿಗೆಗೆ ಬೀಳಲು ಹಲವು ಬಹು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು |ಕಾರಣವಾದವು. ಬಹು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಚಾಲಿತ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಇಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ಮಾಡಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಕಾನೂನು, ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ತೂರಿ ತಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟಬದ್ದಂತೆ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಚಾಲಿತ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನದ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸ ತೊಡಗಿದವು. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿದ್ದು, ಶ್ರಮ ಪಟ್ಟು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ವಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಫಿಟೈಸ್ ಪಡೆದು ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆಟೋ ಮತ್ತು ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ ಚಾಲಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಡೆತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ಉದ್ದಿಮೆಯ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನೇ ಅಲುಗಾಡಿಸುವ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯ ತೊಡಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸುಮಾರು ಏಳು ಲಕ್ಷ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ತೊಂದರೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಉದ್ಭವವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸದೆ ಲಂಗು ಲಗಾಮು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅನಧಿಕೃತ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಚಾಲಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಲೀಕರ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು 2021 ರಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ದೂರನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದಿದ್ದವು,, ಆದರೆ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠವಾಗಿರುವ ಬಹುರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು, ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕಾರಣ, ಅನಧಿಕೃತ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಹಾಕುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗಳ ಚಾಲಕರಿಂದ ಸವಾರರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವುದು ನಾವು ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ, ಬರುವಂತಹ ಚಾಲಕರು, ಹೆಲ್ಕೆಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದುಬುಕ್ ಮಾಡುವಂತ ಸವಾರರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಮುಖ ಪರಿಚಯವೂ ಸಹ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಹಲವು ಚಾಲಕರು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಸಭ್ಯವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಅಂತಹ ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಸಹ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸವಾಲಾಗಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಮಳೆಗಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ಅನಧಿಕೃತವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಇಂತಹ ವಾಹನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಸವಾರರಿಗೆ ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮೆ ದೊರಕುವುದು ಸಹ ಕಷ್ಟ ಸಾಧ್ಯ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು
ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಯಿಂದ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳು, ಕಾನೂನಿನ ತೊಡಕುಗಳು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿನ ವೈಫಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ದಿನಾಂಕ 11.09.2023 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಬೃಹತ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಬಂದ್ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ತರಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯ ದಿನಾಂಕದಂದು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರು ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಚಾಲಿತ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಷೇಧಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಮಾನ್ಯ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರು, ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಲವು ಬಾರಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ತಿಂಗಳು ವಿಳಂಬವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಯಾವುದೇ ಪರಮರ್ಶೆನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡದೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ E- ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಗೆ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ, ತದನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದಂತಹ, ಮತ್ತು ಆಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸುಮಾರು 7 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಚಾಲಕರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ನಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 11 2023ರ ಹೋರಾಟದ ದಿನದಂದು ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಆಶ್ವಾಸನೆಯಂತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರು ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಆಟೋ ಮತ್ತು ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ ಚಾಲಕರ ಸಂತಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು, ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ್ದು ಇನ್ನು ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಸಂಚಾರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಅನಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಚಲಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಯನ್ನು ತಡೆದು ಕಾನೂನಿನ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮಜರಗಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಿತ್ರರ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಪ್ರವರ್ತನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಚಾರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಅವಗಾಹನೆಗೆ ತರಲು ತಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಕಾರ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯಮೂಲ್ಯ.
ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಬೈಕ್ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ ಹಿಂಪಡೆತದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ, ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣರಾದ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಿತ್ರರು, ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ವಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಎಸ್.ನಟರಾಜ ಶರ್ಮ-ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು,KSBOA ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಬಿಟಿಎಂ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ (ಕುವೆಂಪು ನಗರ) ಪರಂಪರಾ ಕಲ್ಚರಲ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಇದೇ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 10 ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ ಕುವೆಂಪು ನಗರ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸೌರಭ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.
ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಸಹಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಂದ ಗಾಯನ, ಹಾಸ್ಯರಸಾಯನ, ಶಿಳ್ಳೆ ಗಾಯನ, ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರಹಸನ , ಮಿಮಿಕ್ರಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಖ್ಯಾತ ಹಾಸ್ಯೋಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ಬೇಲೂರು ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿ, ಪ್ರಹಸನ ಪ್ರಚಂಡರಾದ ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥ ನಾರಾಯಣ, ಎಸ್.ರಾಜಗೋಪಾಲಾಚಾರಿ, ಮಿಮಿಕ್ರಿ ನಂಜುಂಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಯಕರಾದ ಏಣಗಿ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ್, ಶಿಳ್ಳೆ ಲೋಕೇಶ್, ಎನ್.ಗೋಪಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೀಡುವರು.
ಬಿಟಿಎಂ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಳದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಬಿ.ಕೆ.ಪಾರ್ಥಸಾರಥಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಂಪರಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಜಿ ಪಿ ರಾಮಣ್ಣ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿರುವರು.
ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಸಮಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಂದಿ ಪ್ರಿಂಟ್ಸ್ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಎಸ್.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜಿ.ಮಧುಸೂದನ ನಾಯಕ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಡುವರು. ಎಸ್.ಅರ್.ಚಿದಾನಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವರು ಎಂದು ಜಿ ಪಿ ರಾಮಣ್ಣ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು- ಪರಂಪರಾ ಕಲ್ಚರಲ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಕುವೆಂಪು ನಗರ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸುದರು.
