ದಿನಾಂಕ 23-11-2023 ರಿಂದ 29-11-2023 ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಗುಜರಾತಿನ, ಸೂರತ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ವೀರ್ ನರ್ಮದ್ ಸೌತ್ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಯುನಿವರ್ಸಿಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 15 ನೇ ಅಕ್ಷಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಕುಡೊ ( ಮಿಕ್ಸಡ್ ಮಾರ್ಷಲ್ ಆರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ) ಟೂರ್ನಮೆಂಟ್. 14 ನೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕುಡೊ ಟೂರ್ನಮೆಂಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ 4 ನೇ ಕುಡೊ ಫೆಡರೇಷನ್ ಕಪ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮbಬಾರಿಗೆ 3 ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಗಳು ಒಂದೇ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಮಹಾ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಲವಾರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಿಂದ 116 ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಸಬ್ ಜೂನಿಯರ್, ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ 10 ನೇ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕುಡೂbಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡೊ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ಆಫ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿಹಾನ್ ಶಬ್ಬಿರ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ರವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ತಂಡವು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿತ್ತು. ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರಾಗಿ ಮುರಳಿ ಹೆಚ್ ಸಣ್ಣಕ್ಕಿ, ಅಮೃತ್ ಪಟೇಲ್. ಜಿ. ಆರ್. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಡಿ.bಎಂ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಇಬ್ರಾಹಿಂ. ಎಸ್ ರವರು, ಟೀಮ್ ಕೋಚ್ ಆಗಿ ಎಂ. ಶೇಖರ್ ರವರು ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡಕೋಟ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಫಿ ಅಸೊಸಿಯೆಷನ್- ಭಾರತದ ಕುಡೊ ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಭಾರತಿಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾದಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿಹಾನ್ ಶಬ್ಬಿರ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ರವರ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಮೊಟ್ಟ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ 116 ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳ ತಂಡ ಒಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿರುವುದು. ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರಾದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ 14 ನೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕುಡೊ ಟೂರ್ನಮೆಂಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ 7 ಚಿನ್ನ, 9 ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಗು 19 ಕಂಚು, 4 ನೇ ಕುಡೊ ಫೆಡರೇಷನ್ ಕಪ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ 2 ಚಿನ್ನ, 11 ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಗು 22 ಕಂಚು ಹಾಗು 15 ನೇ ಅಕ್ಷಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಕುಡೊ ಟೂರ್ನಮೆಂಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ 7 ಚಿನ್ನ, 8 ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಗು 29 ಕಂಚು ವಟ್ಟು 114 ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ತಂದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರbನಟ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿಹಾನ್ ಅಕ್ಷಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ಹಾಗು ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ನಟಿ ದಿಶಾ ಪಟಾಣಿರವರು ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಕುಡೊ ಜಪಾನಿನ ಮಿಕ್ಸಡ್ ಮಾರ್ಷಲ್ ಆರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಆಗಿದೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಜಪಾನಿನ ಒಂದು ಸಮರ ಕಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯು ಕರಾಟೆ, ಜುಡೊ, ಟೆಕ್ವಾಂಡೊ, ಬಾಕ್ಸಿಂಗ್, ಕಿಕ್ ಬಾಕ್ಸಿಂಗ್, ಕುಸ್ತಿ, ಮುಯ್ ಥಾಯ್, ವುಶು, ಜುಜುಟ್ಟು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಸಮರ ಕಲೆಗಳ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಈ ಒಂದು ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿತರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮರ ಕಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತಹಾಗೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯು ಆತ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ನಿಯಮಗಳು, ಶಿಸ್ತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ಅತಿ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗೆ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ 6 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಿಂದ 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರೆ 10,000 ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳ ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಕೂಡೊ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ರಾಶಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನೌಕರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೂಡೊ ಇಂಟರ್ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಫೆಡರೇಷನ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯದ ಚೆರ್ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ರವರಾದ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ನಟ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿಹಾನ್ ಅಕ್ಷಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳುನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಕುಡೊ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ಆಫ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿಹಾನ್ ಶಬ್ಬಿರ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ರವರ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಡೊ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಮೆಶ್. ಎನ್ ರವರು, ವಿವಿದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಡೊ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ತರಬೇತಿ ಶುಭ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ….. ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕುಡೊ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ಆಫ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿಹಾನ್ ಶಬ್ಬಿರ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ರವರ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Women Entrepreneurship Platform and MakeMyTrip Partner to Empower Women HomeStay Owners in India’s North-Eastern Region

In an initiative aimed at supporting women’s entrepreneurship and self-reliance, the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) that has been incubated under Niti Aayog, in collaboration with MakeMyTrip, announces the launch of “Project Maitri”. This unique endeavour focuses on women in the north-east region of the country, by leveraging the untapped potential of homestays as a pathway to entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and independence.

Launched at the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Center, Itanagar, the event titled ‘Enabling Women-Led Development in Arunachal’ was graced by the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Pema Khandu, signifying the state’s commitment to gender-balanced progress.

Project Maitri is a forward-thinking initiative designed to empower and inspire homestay owners across all the north-eastern states in the country. As part of the project, selected participants will receive specialized training tailored to their unique business needs. This training will cover a wide range of skills, including hospitality, safety, digital marketing, and compliance. Additionally, the top three homestay owners will be recognized with awards, further incentivizing excellence and innovation in this sector.

Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting announces its 15% acquisition with a newaddition of Personal Wash Brands – Jo, Doy, and Bacter Shield

Bengaluru, Tuesday, December 5, 2023 – Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, announced its 15acquisition by acquiring Jo, Doy, and Bacter Shield, brands from VVF (India) Limited. This is also thecompany’s third acquisition within the last twelve months.

The acquisition will be a strategic expansion for Wipro in the personal wash segment. Jo toilet soap isthe key brand with a significant play in North, East and West markets. Doy operates in the premium segment with differentiated positioning, and Bacter Shield has an anti-bacterial range of soap and handwash. These brands together recorded a revenue of over INR 2100 MN during FY23.

The brand Jo is currently available in five existing variants of Lime, Almond, Sandal, Rose & Neem. Doysoap is available in three variants of Aloe Natural, Hydrating Milk and Honey Glow. And Bacter Shieldis an anti-bacterial range with a soap and handwash.
