Situated in Bengaluru’s bustling high street of Indiranagar, the store is a significant milestone for Wrangler®’s expansion in India. Spread across 4,500 sq. ft, this is the largest store of Wrangler® in India. The Wrangler® Indiranagar store retails the popular denims, T-shirts, jackets and sweatshirts. The store also offers the newest range of fits for both men and women in line with the latest trends, and premium collections and collaborations. This includes the special Wrangler x Smriti Mandhana that features handpicked pieces that stick with consumers through thick and thin, symbolizing resilience and growth through the Ride of Life!

At the heart of the store is India’s first ever Augmented Reality (AR) mural by a fashion brand in India. It’s a celebration of Wrangler®’s rich heritage and innovative spirit, an experience that leaves consumers not just admiring the collection but living it. 

The AR wall can be seen alongside the staircase.

By baking legacy into the very fabric of product storytelling, vibrant art installations, and customer experiences, the store brings Wrangler®’s brand story to life. The canvas chosen accentuates the disruptive artistry at the heart of denim and biking heritage.

ಅನ್ನಭಾಗ್ಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಐದು ಕೆ.ಜಿ. ಅಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ನೇರ ನಗದು ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕೈಬಿಡಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಬಿಟಿ ಮೊತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಕಮೀಷನ್ ಭಾಗ್ಯ ಕೋಡಿ ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 19 ರಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಬೆಲೆ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಸಾಂಕೇತಕವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ್‌ ಮಾಡಲು `ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪಡಿತರ ವಿತರಕರ ಸಂಘ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದೆ.

ಐದು ಕೆ.ಜಿ. ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ನಗದು ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ದೊರೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ಕಮೀಷನ್‌ ಹಣದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

ಹೊಸ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಆರನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ನಗದು ಬದಲು ಹತ್ತು ಕೆ.ಜಿ. ಅಕ್ಕಿ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಬಾರಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ನಮಗೆ ಅಹವಾಲಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ ದೊರೆತಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೌಜನ್ಯಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಪಡಿತರ ವಿತರಕರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸದಿರುವುದು ತುಂಬಾ ನೋವು ತಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಸರ್ಕರಿ ಪಡಿತರ ವಿತರಕರ ಹಿತರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಂಘದ  ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಜೆ.ಬಿ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 2020ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರಿ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದ ಇವರು ಈಗ ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ಕೂಡಿಸ ಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ (ಹಣದ ಖರ್ಚುಇಲ್ಲದೆ) ಜಾರಿಮಾಡಬಹುದಾದ ಕೆಲಸ ಇವರು ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಚುನಾವಣ ಪುಣಾಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೃಷಿಕಾಯ್ಕೆ ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ.

MSPಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ನೀತಿರೂಪಿಸಿ ಶಾಸನ ಬದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಉಳಿಗಾಲವಿಲ್ಲ.

ಉದಾ: ತೆಂಗಿನ ಕೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ MSP 11,750/- ರೂ ಇದೆ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 1,250/- ರೂ ಸಹಾಯ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಸಹಾಯ ಹಣ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಿದ್ದರು ಏಕೆ? ಹೇಗೆ? ಇದರ ಪುಯೋಜನ ತಲುಪದಿದ್ದರೆ ಏನೂ ಪುಯೋಜನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಮುಂಚೆ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ DK ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ತಂಗುವುದೇಶದ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಐದು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ರೈತರಿಗೆ 6ನೇ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ. ನಾವು ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ 15,000/- ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಖರೀದಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾತುಕೊಟ್ಟರು, ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

MSP (ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಬೆಲೆ) ತೋರಿಕೆಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಏರಿತ್ತು.ಇದರಿಂದ ಏನು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ.ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಕಳೆದ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 18,000/-ರೂಗೆ ಮಾರಿದ ರೈತರು ಈಗ 8,000/- ರೂ.ಗೆ ಮಾರಿದರೆ ಏನು ಲಾಭ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ MSP ಶಾಸನಬದ್ಧಗೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ತೊರಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.

ವಿದ್ಯುತ್, ಗಾಮೀಣ ವುದೇಶದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕನಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಿಷ್ಠವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಂಪ್‌ಸೆಟ್‌ಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ 8 ಗಂಟೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಣಾಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಆದರೆ 8 ಗಂಟೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕೊಡುವವರೆಗೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮುಂದುವರೆಯಲಿದೆ.

ಬರಗಾಲ ನಮ್ಮ ರೈತ ಕನ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಾಗ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಪೂರ್ಣ ಬರಿದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೂರರಷ್ಟು ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇವರು 25 ರೂ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವರು ಕೊಡೋದು ನಾಲ್ಕಣಿ ಅಂದ 25 ಪ್ರಸೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ

ಇವರು 70ರ ದಶಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಪತ್ತು ನೀತಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ನೀತಿ ಬದಲು ಮಾಡದೇ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮಾನದಂಡ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಇರುವ ಈ ನೀತಿ ಕೈ ಬಿಟ್ಟು, 2023ರ ನೀತಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿ ವಿಪತ್ತು ಪರಿಹಾರ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತನ್ನಿ, ಅದೇ ಕಾರ್ಪೋಟ‌ ಕಂಪನಿಗೆ ಇವರೇ ಕರೆದು ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ಕೊಡಿಸಿ ಇವರೇ ಮನ್ನಾ ಕೂಡ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಸರಕಾರವು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ತೀರ್ಮಾನದಂತೆ ಕೃಷಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಪರವಾನಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ರದ್ದು ಪಡಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೋಟಿಸ್‌ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನೀವು ಕೃಷಿಕರನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವೇ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ, ಎನ್ನುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನುಮಾನವಿಲ್ಲ.ಈ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಈ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ವಾಪಾಸ್‌ ಪಡೆಯುವ ತುರ್ತು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಾಡಿನ ರೈತರು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ “ರೈತ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ” ಎಂದು ಪುತಿಭಟನೆಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಲು ಸಂಘವು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೋಡಿಹಳ್ಳಿ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್- ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಪ್ರೆಸ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಥಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

The order was enacted as a suo moto Kamataka High Court public interest litigation (PIL) launched in March 2021 soughta “unobstructed vehicular traffic”. Places like Vidhana Soudha and MG Road were marked as “restricted” through the same order. Even protests in Freedom park require to be intimated to the police from the organisers’ end where the police have the power to revoke or withhold the permission to protest. This development that came under the erstwhile BJP government still continues despite this new government being voted into power for being a force that upholds constitutional rights. For many months now, there have been consistent efforts by civil society activists to conduct a dialogue with the government requesting for the restrictive order to be revoked. All such entreaties have failed to evoke a positive response from the government so farOn 2nd October, many civil society organisations and activists who have formed the coalition called the ‘Horatadaa Hakkigaagi Janandolana’ came together at the Gandhi statue at Maurya circle to perform civil disobedience by taking out a rally till the Ambedkar statue at Vidhana Soudha in defiance of this anti-people order. Hundreds of protestors were manhandled and detained by the police as the rally was about to start, sending a shockwave across the city. Ash students it is particularly important to have the right to protest, otherwise taking the demands to Freedom Park will further invisibilise the aspirations of students since the state already has a ban on student unions. Students are not allowed to express themselves, resist or question on campuses. It becomes more difficult for expression of dissent inside and outside campus spaces as democratic spaces are being clamped down.

Given this situation, under the banner of Horatadaa Hakkigaagi Janandolana, we, the following student-youth organisations – All India Students’ Association, Ambedkar Students’ Association, Bengaluru Vishwavidyanilaya Samshodhana Vidhyarthigala Okkuta, Collective, Dalit Vidyarthi Parishad, Fridays for Future (Karnataka), Students’ Islamic Organisation, St. Broseph, anda Karnataka Vidyarthi Sangathane have come together to safeguard our constitutional right to protest enshrined in Article 19 of the Indian constitution within the city. We appeal that the police order stifling our right to protest in the city be revoked immediately so that we can strengthen

the fight for our rights against all forms of social and academic injustices. We also appeal to the government to take heed of the other major issues plaguing the entire student community that are rendered practically invisible thanks to the restrictive police order.

Primary demand:

Revoke the police order restricting our right to protest in the city.

General student demands:

1. Ensure timely disbursal and hiking of scholarships.

2. Scrap all remnants of the National Education Policy, 2020 from educational institutes in Karnataka.

3. Bring back student democracy in the educational campuses of Karnataka by revoking the government order banning student unions.

4. Regulate fee hikes in public and private colleges.

5. Reject corporatisation and saffronisation of education. Uphold universal and inclusive education.

6. Extend the ambit of Right to Education act to include students till the age of 18. 7. Include criminal penalties in the Karnataka Education Act for harassment of students by educational authorities.
