Mumbai, July 20, 2023 – Škoda Auto India announced its new brand philosophy – “Let’s Explore”, with a high impact marketing campaign, “Make every KM count”. This development is part of the company’s larger brand strategy that began in 2022 with the unveiling of the Vision 7S design study and announcement of the new logo. The transformation was to encapsulate the transition into a rapidly changing world and customer aspirations ably captured in the new logo and lettering.

The new marketing campaign encapsulates the ethos of Indian traditions and also the growing aspirations of ‘new India’ – who have great ambitions and love to explore. ‘Make every KM count’ reflects this spirit of Škoda cars and the Škoda family.

The brand’s new philosophy “Let’s Explore” has been released globally in more than 50 markets. India is a pivotal market for Škoda and this campaign is tailor-made to fit the modern Indian customer mind-set and their evolving ambitions. KRAFTON Unveils BATTLE GROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES 2023, with a Prize Pool of INR 2 Crore; Registrations for Participants Open on 24th July

Bangalore, July 20th, 2023: KRAFTON, Inc. announces BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2023, the first ever BGIS tournament with a LAN event finale. Touted as the biggest Battle Royale Esports tournament in India, BGIS will witness thousands of teams competing for a prize money of INR 2 crore. Keeping in sync with its commitment to provide local experiences for players and fans, the Grand Finals of the event will be broadcast in 10 languages, including English, Hindi, and 8 other regional languages, making sure the excitement reaches every corner of the country.

BGIS 2023 will commence streaming on July 20th and conclude on October 14th, 2023. The tournament has been divided into two phases: the Online qualifiers and Offline Grand Finals which will be held on-ground from October 12th to 14th, with fans being welcome to attend.

BGIS 2023 commences with The Grind where 256 invited teams will compete fiercely to secure their position among the top 64 teams, who make it to Round 2 and Round 3 of the tournament. The Grind will determine which of the invited teams, as well as the players that advance via the In-Game Qualifiers, will compete in the main event. Fans can catch The Grind on KRAFTON INDIA ESPORTS YouTube channel, starting 20th July, every day at 12pm IST.

Registrations will take place from July 24th to August 2nd, with verifications taking place from August 3rd to August 9th. Players should make sure to enter details correctly to avoid elimination in the verification stage. From August 10th to August 17th, the verified teams will engage in intense in-game qualifiers through 15 classic matches, with their top 10 match scores determining their rankings.

Of this, 2048 teams will qualify for Round 1. These 2048 teams will then play in a group of 16 from Round 1 – Round 6 wherein the top teams will keep proceeding to the next round, leading up to the electrifying Grand Finale. The doors will be wide open for fans, as the best of the best clash for the ultimate glory in the LAN event, which will be held from October 12th to 14th.

Bangalore, 20.07.23 – Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW), formerly known as Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBEI), announces the setting up of the Community Engagement and Training Center at Koramangala Police Station. The project, envisioned as a community hub and designed in the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, will aid the Bangalore City Police through community collaboration and prepare to mitigate future outbreaks and pandemics through a participatory approach.
Located at Office of Deputy Commissioner of Police, South-East Division in Bangalore, this multifunctional hub is designed to facilitate training programs, meetings, and strategic planning, while fostering an environment for effective community engagement. With a capacity to accommodate up to 100 people, hub represents a significant step towards enhancing the relationship between law enforcement and the community.
This versatile space can serve as a training centre, meeting hall, and war room, enabling the Bangalore City Police and community members to work together seamlessly and effectively. The infrastructure is uniquely constructed using the Brutalist style of Architecture Design. It is eco-friendly, i.e., without any plastering or painting, thereby reducing the carbon footprints of the building.
The windows and doors were built using basic aluminium extrusions, thereby avoiding timber use. Apart from being sustainable and eco-friendly, this design is very functional when it comes to thermal effects and acoustic advantages. This kind of construction can be built faster and easy to maintain, compared to ordinary plastered and painted buildings.
RK Shenoy, Senior VP – Mobility Engineering & Member of Executive Leadership Team, at Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) says the project is not limited to structure but how communities get involved closely and promote a safe empowered society. “The Stakeholder Visioning Exercise helped us ideate on how this Center could be a true potential for the community, wherein the Police Force becomes an agent of goodness and various social groups could come and sensitize the public on many relevant topics of the day. The infrastructure could aid the Police Force to join hands with the community and be prepared to mitigate future outbreaks and beyond pandemics through a participatory approach. This ideation led to the creation of a Community Engagement Centre at Koramangala Police Station,” said RK Shenoy.

BGSW proudly handed over the setup to the officials on February 10, 2023 with hopes that it will be utilized to serve the community and the people from the neighbourhoods. On March 8, on occasion of International Women’s Day, the community hub hosted a session for Women in the Police Force, recognizing the work of the Rani Chennamma Pade who have been focussing on awareness campaigns for the safety of women citizens across the city.
