ಫ್ರೆಶಿಯಸ್ ಫುಡ್ಟೆಕ್ ಪ್ರೈವೇಟ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ನ 2ನೇ ಶಾಖೆಯಾದ ‘ಫ್ರೆಶಿಯಸ್’ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ (ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 14) ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಸಿಟಿ 2ನೇ ಬೇಸ್ ಗೋವಿಂದಶೆಟಿಪಾಳ್ಯಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜನಪದ ಕಲೆಯಾದ ಡೊಳ್ಳು ಕುಣಿತ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸೂರೆಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅದರ ಸಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಜೆ.ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಆರಿಫ್ ಅವರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಸಿಟಿ 2 ನೇ ಬೇಸ್ ಗೋವಿಂದಶೆಟಿಪಾಳ್ಯಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಫ್ರೆಶಿಯಸ್ ಫುಡ್ಟೆಕ್ ಪ್ರೈವೇಟ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ನ ಫ್ರೆಶಿಯಸ್ 2 ನೇ ಶಾಖೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿದೆ. ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ನಾವು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 30 ಶಾಖೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಲು ಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಂತರ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 2 ನೇ ಹಂತದ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಫ್ರೆಶಿಯಸ್ ಮಾರಾಟ ಶಾಖೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ನಾವು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು, ಕೇರಳ ಮತ್ತು ಆಂಧ್ರ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ನದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಥಮ, ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಮೀನು, ಸೀಗಡಿ, ಏಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾರಾಟ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಂದ ಅಪಾರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

Bangalore, April 19, 2023 – Dr. Mattur Nandakumara, a highly respected authority on Vedic literature, philosophy, mythology, and rituals, has been appointed as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition of his services to the teaching, performance, and accessibility of Indian classical arts in the UK. He has actively promoted Sanskrit education and Indian culture in the UK and Europe for over four decades.
Dr. Nandakumara is the current Executive Director of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (also known as The Bhavan) in London, UK and also been identified as one of the UK’s top 100 most influential Asians for his role as an ambassador for India’s art, culture, and philosophy.
Since 1977, Dr. Nandakumara has been associated with The Bhavan in London, where he has been teaching multiple Sanskrit courses ranging from introductory to expert-level courses in grammar, commentary, and discussion on the great literary texts. Over the past five decades, The Bhavan in London has become a dynamic and vibrant cultural hub with help from the numerous well-wishers who have contributed to its success. Notably, Smt. Sudha Murty has been supporting The Bhavan since 2008 and has provided unstinting support to numerous programs and artists.
Expressing his gratitude upon receiving the MBE award, Dr. Mattur Nandakumara said, “I am deeply humbled and honoured to receive this prestigious recognition from His Majesty The King Charles III. I am committed to continuing my efforts in teaching and making Indian classical arts accessible in the UK and the rest of the world. I am grateful for the support of my family, mentors, colleagues, and students, without whom this would not have been possible.”
Dr. Nandakumara’s outstanding achievements in promoting and preserving Sanskrit education and Indian culture have been recognised with several awards, including the Kannada Rajyotsava Award in 2011, the Samskriti Seva Samman by Hindi Samiti UK for his contribution to Art and Culture, and the Award of Distinction in the field of Art and Culture in 2006, instituted by the India International Foundation and presented by Baroness Usha Prashar.
Apart from teaching, Dr. Nandakumara has also organised and run multiple Conversational Sanskrit courses in London and has lectured extensively on various aspects of Hindu philosophy and mythology across the UK. He has officiated hundreds of Hindu ceremonies in the UK, Europe, and the Far East and is also a writer of multiple poems in both Sanskrit and Kannada languages, with a focus on personal interpretations of key parts of the Vedas, Upanishads, and Gita.
Dr. Nandakumara has contributed to promoting Indian culture in the UK by organizing concerts for the benefit of The Bhavan. These concerts feature eminent artists like Pt Ravi Shankar, Pt Birju Maharaj, Dr. Balamuralikrishna, Pt Jasraj, Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ustad Zakir Hussain, and Anoushka Shankar, among others. Since 1984, he has been responsible for presenting over eighty events every year, featuring eminent artists and scholars, many of whom have conducted workshops and lecture demonstrations.

Addressing media personnel, Gurmit Singh Arora, National President, Indian Plumbing Association, said. “India has 17.7% of the world population and only 4% of the world’s freshwater resources. India is also the largest extractor of groundwater in the world and most of our aquifers are over-exploited. While the government is doing its part to create awareness and encourage water conservation to accomplish National Water Mission’s Goal of increasing the water use efficiency by 20%, IPA, being a member of the task force to achieve this mission, is aggressively promoting education and awareness among the masses to save and conserve water through social media, public deliberations, and the ‘IPA Neerathon’ a water awareness festival which is a 3 km, 5 km and 10 km run to promote water conversation in 5 metra cities, viz. Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. During Plumbex India 2023, IPA will submit a memorandum on Net Zero water in built spaces to both the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Ministry of Jal Shakti during Plumbex India 2023. The memorandum would include suggestions to mandate low flow sanitary ware and sanitary fittings in all new construction and renovation projects around the country so that National Water Mission’s goal may be achieved. The memorandum will also cover issues such as water metering and rainwater harvesting, reclamation of used of water and different ways in which IPA can work with the government for water audits in different installations.”
Bengaluru is on the verge of losing out on its water security. The city which had around 400 plus lakes currently only has less than 200. Bengaluru is expected to have a water shortage of around 1450 million liters per day. Water leakages currently account for more than 420 million litres per day.
“We can do our bit by minimizing water use in housing and built environment by use of Water Efficient Plumbing products including Low flow Sanitary ware and Sanitary fittings which save 40% water at source without compromising on the comfort of the user.
