The event was organized by Manujothi Ashram, Tamil Nadu, to spread the spiritual message of Brahma Yagnam or Immortal Yoga to humanity.

Authored by Devaseer E. Lawrie, the book presents the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita through the divine revelations of Shreemann Narayana Shri Lahari Krishna, interpreting the slokas based on their deeper, spiritual meaning. The central theme of the publication promotes the principle of “One God! One Nation!” and aims to foster harmony among people beyond barriers of caste, creed, religion, or language.

Sailing for All: 2025 Asian Inclusive Sailing Series Announced at Bengaluru Press Club

Bengaluru, October 6, 2025:
In a landmark step toward promoting inclusivity in sports, the Royal Mysore Sailing Club (RMSC) and the Karnataka State Sailing Association (KSSA), under the aegis of the Yachting Association of India (YAI), today announced the upcoming Asian Inclusive Sailing Series (AISS) 2025 at a press conference held at the Press Club of Bangalore.

The event, which will take place from October 8 to 13, 2025, at the RMSC facilities on the picturesque KRS backwaters in Mysuru, marks the first-ever inclusive sailing championship of its kind in India, officially endorsed by World Sailing.

The AISS 2025 will welcome sailors with disabilities from across Asia and beyond, reaffirming India’s leadership and commitment to accessibility and equal opportunity in competitive sailing. So far, 10 Asian nations—including China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, East Timor, the Philippines, Oman, and India—along with one European team from France, have confirmed participation. Additional countries are expected to join soon, making it a truly international celebration of inclusivity, skill, and resilience.
“This initiative reflects our strategic goal to strengthen para and inclusive sailing across Asia,” said Fiona Kidd, Head of International Development at World Sailing. “We applaud India’s leadership and look forward to the lasting impact this event will have across the region.”

The championship will feature Hansa 303 and Hansa 203 class boats, with Mysuru’s October weather—temperatures between 21–30°C and steady winds of 9–14 km/h—offering ideal racing conditions.

Organisers highlighted that AISS 2025 is more than a regatta—it is a movement. The initiative aims to inspire new generations of sailors, create greater awareness about adaptive sports, and establish a sustainable platform for inclusive sailing in Asia.
