The initiative would primarily focused on Customer Credit Outreach, and supporting the general public , farmers, entrepreneurs and business establishments by way of distributing loans and implementing digital initiative by the Bank of Baroda towards the economic growth of our nation. Further, besides inauguration of Credit Outreach Program, Shri Sanjiv Chadha MD- CEO Bank of Baroda, Shri Joydeep Dutta Roy, Executive Director and Shri Sudhakara D Nayak A, Zonal Head, Bengaluru Zone has also given Sanction Letters under various Retail Loans, Agri Loans and MSME schemes to the Customers, farmers and also delivered various digital products to Bannerghatta National Park, Treasury Dept GoK, Lulu Mall etc.

People with Visually impaired were given about 115 White Canes costing about Rs.30000, 125 Braille Watches costing about 1.25 lacs and Provision Kiits worth about Rs. 25,000.
On the occasion Fr.Sunil Fernandez acknowledged and congratulated Lions for their dedicated services rendered to downtrodeen and communities in the time of need and thanked them for living by their tag line “Where there is a need, there is a Lion”

Bengaluru, 23rd October 2021: Apollo Cancer Centres (ACC) launched its breast awareness campaign – The Best Breast Examiner for You is YOU, to commemorate the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This campaign by Apollo Cancer Centres illustrates the importance of regular self-breast examination and screening. It is an initiative by Apollo Cancer Centres to create a movement to educate and empower every woman to be her own breast examiner. For every 4 minutes 1 woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in India, and 1 woman dies of breast cancer every 13 minutes. Women in India are generally diagnosed at a later, more advanced stage with a poor prognosis. About 1 in 29 women may develop breast cancer during their lifetime. It is a disease that affects so many women and it is good to know that it can be detected and cured with early detection.
