Bengaluru, August 2025: Alliance University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Anju Bobby High Performance (ABHP) Center, established by Olympian Anju Bobby George and coach Robert Bobby George, to bridge academics with elite sports training.

As part of the collaboration, the university will roll out a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Sports Management from 2026, with an initial intake of 60 students. The initiative is aligned with the Sports Development and Welfare Bill, 2025, which emphasizes structured educational pathways and institutional support to professionalize sports management in the country.

In a significant step towards encouraging women in sports, Alliance University has also announced the Anju Bobby George Women Athlete Scholarship, which will provide annual support to two meritorious female athletes excelling at the state, national, or international level.
