Ambedkar Jayanthi: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Is the Eternal Light for Dalits and Backward Classes, Says Gs Gopal Raaj

On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanthi, Gs Gopal Raaj, editor of City Today News, paid heartfelt tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, calling him a “Eternal Light” for the downtrodden, Dalits, and backward class communities across India.

“Dr. Ambedkar is not just a historical figure—he is a Eternal Light in the hearts of millions who continue to draw strength, dignity, and inspiration from his relentless struggle for social justice,” said Gopal Raaj during a commemorative event in Bengaluru.

Ambedkar Jayanthi, observed on April 14, marks the birth anniversary of the architect of the Indian Constitution and a towering icon of social reform. Across the country, tributes poured in from all quarters—political leaders, civil society groups, and citizens—celebrating his legacy of equality, education, and empowerment.

Gopal Raaj emphasized that Ambedkar’s vision remains more relevant than ever today. “His dream of an India free from caste discrimination and social injustice is still a work in progress. We must continue to uphold his ideals and fight for the rights of the oppressed.”
