
Bengaluru, March 3, 2025: The Academy of Family Physicians of India (AFPI) has announced that the prestigious WONCA South Asia Region (SAR) Family Medicine Conference 2025 will be held from April 4 to 6, 2025, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Bengaluru. The event will bring together leading family physicians, policymakers, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the globe to discuss advancements in primary healthcare and family medicine.
Organized by AFPI Karnataka, a proud member of WONCA (World Organization of Family Doctors), the conference will emphasize strengthening primary care and ensuring accessible, quality healthcare for communities worldwide. WONCA represents over 600,000 family doctors across 140 countries and is committed to developing family medicine globally.
Conference Theme & Highlights
The theme for WONCA SAR 2025, “Rooted in Tradition, Growing with Innovation – Family Medicine for a Healthier South Asia,” highlights the region’s rich medical heritage while integrating modern healthcare advancements.
