Foodies in love: Festival dating in Bengaluru is all about culinary adventures together! Per Bumble’s recent study, 27% of people surveyed in Bengaluru claim enjoying authentic festival food with their dates or partners is their favourite festive dating ritual.
Date-cations and vacations: From exploring exotic travel destinations to quick weekend getaways, festive vacations are a playful fusion of tradition and modern romance. For GenZers and Millenials, festivals are not just about the traditional ceremonies, it is also about turning festival holidays into exciting date-cations as 25% of people surveyed in Bengaluru say vacations are their favourite tradition with their partner or a date.
Festive Parties: When it comes to celebrating the festivals, 16% of people surveyed in Bengaluru say that hosting or visiting festive parties (Diwali, Christmas, etc.) is their favourite tradition with their partner or a date.
How do Bengaluruans prefer to date during the festive season?
53% of people surveyed in Bengaluru say they would go shopping together if they were dating someone during the festive season
48% of people surveyed in Bengaluru choose to spend time together doing puja at home and 47% of them would prepare festive sweets and dishes together if they were dating someone during festive season
45% of people in Bengaluru surveyed would decorate the house together
43% of people surveyed in Bengaluru would partake in festive gifting and 42% of people surveyed in Bengaluru would attend festive parties together. In fact, more women (46%) than men (39%) surveyed prefer to attend festive parties.
