FICCI FLO Bengaluru Launches FLO Santé: A Transformative Platform Showcasing Women Entrepreneurs and Sustainable Innovation

Over 130 Women-Led Brands to Participate in a First-of-its-Kind Showcase of Conscious Commerce and Community-Driven Growth

Bengaluru, July 17, 2025:
FICCI FLO Bengaluru—the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry—has officially launched FLO Santé, a pioneering initiative aimed at redefining sustainability, commerce, and community engagement through the lens of women’s entrepreneurship.

Spearheaded by Dekyi Yangtso Chawla, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Bengaluru, FLO Santé goes beyond the traditional trade fair format. It serves as a commercial platform that empowers women-led brands by offering them access to real markets, visibility, and revenue opportunities—moving away from the usual mentorship or token support approach.

Taking place on Friday, July 18 at Anantya, Gate 9, Palace Grounds, the day-long event will bring together over 130 women-led businesses spanning sustainable fashion, wellness, artisanal foods, homegrown beauty, and conscious living. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

A key attraction will be The Wedding Edit Pavilion, a curated space that blends couture, wellness, luxury gifting, and beauty. The concept is strategically aligned with government goals to bring women-led MSMEs into high-value sectors such as India’s $50 billion wedding industry—focusing on direct customer acquisition and not charity.

Adding to the vibrancy of the event are:

A fashion masterclass by renowned designers Shivan & Narresh, titled Couture on the Table

A wellness session by Marzi, focused on holistic health and longevity

Live musical performances, enhancing the community-driven atmosphere

Sustainability is at the core of the event. Eco-conscious features such as reusable tote bags, tetra pack water stations, a pre-loved fashion swap zone, and even a pedal-powered energy generator reflect FLO Santé’s commitment to combining purpose with practicality.

Commenting on the initiative, Chawla said, “We’re not just nurturing businesses—we’re helping them gain market access, visibility, and real commercial success. FLO Santé is a space where women-led brands can scale and contribute meaningfully to India’s economic landscape.”

Under her leadership, FLO Bengaluru continues to challenge the status quo, with upcoming events like “Breaking the Silence”—a festival focused on mental health, art, and short films—scheduled for August.

FLO Santé sets a new precedent in showcasing how women-led innovation, sustainable business practices, and inclusive community-building can come together to shape a more resilient and responsible future for India.
