Bengaluru, Sept. 22 – The Bay at Ecoworld, Brookfield Properties’ cultural and dining hub, turned into a lively destination on Sunday as it hosted the Great Indian Brew Festival (GIBF) 2025. The day-long event attracted more than 10,000 visitors, making it one of the city’s largest gatherings for food, drink, and music enthusiasts.
The festival showcased 65 beer varieties from 15 breweries and a spread of 12 food stalls, offering everything from Italian and Asian dishes to German bratwursts and Mangalorean comfort food. Popular names such as Kampot, Nizaams, German Brazelhaus, Roma, NY Pizza Co., Funky Belgian Waffles, Sheesh Kebab, and Amadora were among the highlights.

Adding to the festive atmosphere were live performances by four bands across genres, alongside activities such as Giant Jenga, Bull Terrain rides, tattoo booths, trampolines, and family play zones, creating a carnival-like experience.
Brookfield Properties said the event reflected its aim of building destinations that go beyond retail. “Hosting the festival at The Bay is part of our strategy to create vibrant community spaces where culture and lifestyle thrive,” said Nitin Bir, Vice President – Retail Leasing, Brookfield Properties, India.
Event co-hosts BuzzinON Media & Events and Converge called the festival a celebration of Bengaluru’s inclusive spirit. “The turnout showed how strongly this city embraces culture and community,” said Smriti Menon, Co-founder of BuzzinON.
Organisers also stressed on safety and family-friendly measures, with designated safe zones, ID checks, medical teams, and crowd management in place. Tickets were available through BookMyShow.
