A vibrant day of learning, play and wellness engagement for families

BENGALURU: Happiest Health will host the third edition of its flagship ‘Get Set, Grow! Children’s Wellness Summit’ on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. John’s Auditorium, Koramangala. The summit, designed for children aged 5 to 14, promises an expanded line-up of interactive sessions aimed at promoting holistic well-being. The event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with registrations starting at 9:30 a.m.
After two highly successful seasons that helped parents connect with their children in meaningful ways, Season 3 aims to elevate the experience with engaging activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and healthy habits.
Focus on Childhood Wellness Challenges
A key component of this year’s summit is a panel discussion on the growing incidence of childhood obesity, titled “Children and Obesity: A Growing Concern and Ways to Tackle It.” Moderated by Sunitha Rao, Senior Editor, Happiest Health, the panel will feature:
Dr. Shivaram HV, Senior Consultant Surgeon, Aster RV Hospital
Dr. Rajiv Aggarwal, Senior Consultant – Paediatric Intensivist & Neonatologist, Motherhood Hospitals
The discussion will offer practical insights and evidence-based strategies for parents to address one of the most pressing health issues affecting young children in India.
This will be followed by a session on Adolescent Mental Health, led by Dr. Girish Chandra, Medical Director and Senior Consultant, Psychiatry, Maarga Mind Care, focusing on the emotional pressures and psychological challenges faced by today’s teenagers.
Leaders Call for Action on Childhood Health
Emphasising the urgency of the issue, Raghu Krishnan, Co-Chief Executive Officer (Knowledge), Happiest Health, said:
“India is witnessing a slow but steady rise in childhood obesity. We must now move from awareness to adoption of balanced nutrition, active play, and responsible screen use. This summit aims to guide families with simple, practical steps to build long-term wellness habits.”
Ravi Joshi, Co-Chief Executive Officer (Knowledge), Happiest Health, added:
“Our mission is to make science-based wellness accessible, engaging, and actionable. Season 3 of ‘Get Set, Grow!’ reflects that belief by providing children a joyful space to learn and adopt healthier routines. Wellness is something we live every day, and this summit helps families begin that journey together.”
Workshops to Inspire Young Minds
The summit will also host a series of creative and skill-building workshops, including:
Storytelling Session: An immersive, imagination-driven session by storyteller Aparna Athreya from the Bangalore Storytelling Society
Mosaic Art Workshop: A hands-on craft session led by Roli Jain of Craft Panchayat
These workshops are designed to nurture creativity while strengthening emotional and cognitive development.
