Food Safety Works, a leading company in the domain of food safety, regulatory and compliance services is proud to announce the return of India Food Safety Conclave Edition 2024, The conclave is scheduled to take place on 21st June 2024 at the Bangalore International Centre, Domlur, Bangalore. This one-day event brings together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to engage in critical discussions, share best practices, and celebrate excellence in food safety.
The event will be inaugurated by Mr. Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of Karnataka in the presence of Dr. Srinivas K, IAS, Commissioner FSSAI, Karnataka and the keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Dipendar Sachdeva, CEO Wakefleld.

This year’s conclave introduces a new and exciting element – the Food Safety Culture Awards. Aimed at the growing MSME sector in India, these prestigious awards recognize individuals and organizations demonstrating exceptional commitment to upholding and promoting food safety standards across the – industry. From innovative initiatives to unwavering dedication, the awards celebrate those who are making a real difference in ensuring safe food for all.

The conclave will feature three insightful panel discussions focusing on:
Food Safety Culture: Emerging trends and challenges in the food safety landscape
Testing, Validation & Verification: Pesticide Residues – Impact and Mitigation
Technology for Food Safety: Leveraging technology for enhanced food safety practices
Attendees will gain valuable insights from industry experts, engage in interactive sessions, and network with peers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. There are around 200 plus delegates who will be attending the conclave and get the opportunity to build a network with others in the same space. Food Safety Works has planned extensive outreach to about 70,000 plus food professionals through it’s network.

Chief Sclentist CSIR, Mysore, Dr. Shashikant Kunigal (Ph.D. in Microbiology from CFTRI, Mysore and Ex Corporate Head for Britannia), Dr. Balkumar Marthi (Ph.D. in Microbiology from Delaware, Ex Unilever and Present Dean for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at GITAM), Mridul Salgame, former member of key expert groups at FSSAl and founder IADFAC Lab, Ms Sarika Agarwal, Founder & MD at Food Safety Works and Mr. Srinivas KR, VP & Head – Quality Assurance at Metro Cash and Carry India Pvt.
