Dhanurmasa Pujas to Begin on December 17 at Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Jayanagar

The sacred Dhanurmasa pujas will be observed from December 17, 2025, to January 13, 2026, at the Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt located in Jayanagar Fifth Block, Bengaluru.

The month-long religious observances will be conducted with the blessings and guidance of Param Pujya 1008 Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripadangalavaru. The daily rituals will be held in the early morning hours under the leadership of the mutt’s senior administrator, R.K. Vadindra Acharya.

Speaking about the programme, chief priest Nandakishore Acharya said that special importance will be given to traditional offerings such as huggi and pongal naivedya during the Dhanurmasa period. These rituals, he said, are believed to hold great spiritual significance and are expected to draw large numbers of devotees.

Ganeshotsava Celebrated with Devotion at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Jayanagar


Bengaluru, 27th, August 2025: The Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt at Jayanagar 5th Block witnessed a grand celebration of Ganeshotsava under the divine blessings of His Holiness Sri 1008 Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji. The event was organized under the guidance of the senior administrator, Sri R.K. Vadindracharya.

Devotees and staff of the mutt gathered with devotion and reverence to worship Lord Vighnaharata Ganesha, offering prayers for universal welfare. The program featured special pujas, devotional songs by Haridasas, and the Maha Mangalarati, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The entire ceremony was conducted with traditional sanctity under the leadership of the chief priest, Sri Nandakishore Acharya.

Free Health Check-up Camp Held at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Math, Jayanagar

Bengaluru, May 23: A free medical health check-up camp was successfully organized at the Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swamy Math located in 5th Block, Jayanagar, under the divine blessings of His Holiness Sri 1008 Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji. The initiative was led by the senior administrator of the Math, Sri R.K. Vadindra Acharya.

The health camp was conducted by the team from QXL Diagnostic Center, led by Shri Abhijith, and was intended for the benefit of the Math’s staff and their family members. Shri Nandakishore Acharya from the Math shared details about the camp.

As part of the camp, a Master Health Screening was conducted, which included the following tests:

1. FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar): To detect the presence or control of diabetes.


2. Total Cholesterol: To assess overall cholesterol levels and risk of heart disease.


3. SGOT (AST): To evaluate liver function or detect muscle/heart damage.


4. Creatinine: To assess kidney function and identify any damage.


5. Vitamin B12: To detect deficiencies that may affect nerve function, energy levels, and red blood cell production.


6. CBC (Complete Blood Count): To analyze various components of blood and provide a general overview of health.



In appreciation of Shri Abhijith’s contribution, Sri R.K. Vadindra Acharya extended his gratitude and felicitated him for his dedicated service towards the well-being of the Math’s community.

Sri Ramanavami Celebrated with Devotion at Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swamy Math, Jayanagar

Bengaluru: The auspicious occasion of Sri Ramanavami was observed with great devotion and traditional fervor at the Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swamy Math in Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru. The celebrations were conducted under the guidance of Paramapujya Sri Sri 1008 Subudhendra Teertha Sripadangalavaru and led by the Math’s senior administrator, Sri R.K. Vadindra Acharya.

As part of the festivities, a special abhisheka (ritualistic bathing) was performed for the idol of Lord Sri Rama, followed by a grand alankara (decoration) in a golden cradle (Suvarna Thottilu). The day’s events included a pallakki utsava (palanquin procession), gajavahanotsava (elephant vehicle procession), rathotsava (chariot festival), and devotional Sri Hari Bhajans, drawing enthusiastic participation from devotees.

Special pooja rituals were performed in the presence of the Math’s dharmadhikaris, including Sri Krishna Gundacharyaru, along with the team of archakas (priests) and staff members. A large number of devotees attended the celebration and received the divine blessings.

To mark the occasion, all visiting devotees were offered traditional festive refreshments including kosambari (lentil salad), panaka (a jaggery-based cooling drink), and majjige (buttermilk). The atmosphere was filled with spiritual fervor as devotees chanted “Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram” in unison, expressing their devotion and reverence.

The event concluded with the distribution of prasada to all attendees, who left the premises with a sense of spiritual fulfillment and gratitude for the blessings of Lord Sri Ramachandra and Sri Raghavendra Swamiji.
