Karnataka Students Shine in JEE Mains 2025: Aakashians Gururaj S. Sajjan Secures AIR 92, Aakash Deep Bags AIR 125

Bengaluru, April 19, 2025 — Students from Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), a leading national institution in test preparatory services, have achieved remarkable success in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 (Session 2), with two students from Karnataka securing top All India Ranks.

Gururaj S. Sajjan from Gulbarga secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 92, while Aakash Deep from Bengaluru achieved AIR 125. In addition, three other students from AESL’s Bengaluru branch—Aneesh Shastri (AIR 563), Aniket Jain (AIR 1165), Keerthi Vasan (AIR 1573), and Aryaman Mishra (AIR 1913)—also featured among the top scorers in the country.

The results, announced today by the National Testing Agency (NTA), mark the conclusion of the second and final session of the JEE Mains 2025. These achievements underscore the academic dedication of the students and the effectiveness of Aakash’s structured coaching programs.

Most of the successful students were enrolled in Aakash’s classroom program, which is specifically designed to prepare aspirants for engineering entrance examinations, including the prestigious IIT JEE.

Congratulating the achievers, Mr. Dheeraj Kumar Misra, Chief Academic and Business Head, AESL, said:
“We are extremely proud of our students’ exceptional performance in JEE Main 2025. Their success is the result of consistent hard work, determination, and the quality coaching they received at Aakash. We remain committed to providing the best academic environment to help our students reach their highest potential. Congratulations to all our achievers, and we wish them continued success in the next phase of their academic journey.”

JEE Mains is conducted in two sessions annually, offering students multiple chances to improve their scores. While JEE Advanced is the qualifying exam for admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), JEE Mains is the gateway to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other centrally-funded technical institutions. Qualifying JEE Mains is a prerequisite to appear for JEE Advanced.

AESL continues to be a frontrunner in delivering high-quality coaching for competitive exams such as NEET, JEE, NTSE, and Olympiads. The institute’s commitment to academic excellence and student success remains unwavering.
