Krishna Naik who was the artist in sculpting the statue was caught in fraudulent construction of Parashurama Statue at Parashurama Theme Park in Karkala and Mr. Krishna Shetty filed a complaint against Krishna Naik in C.R. No. 120/2024 registered by the Karkala Town P.S. and Krishna Naik Challenged the FIR at Honorable High Court of Karnataka through Criminal Petition No. 6159/2024 and obtained interim order. Complainant appeared through his advocate Mr. Srikanth.V.K. and learned counsel was successful in exposing frauds and illegal money transfer which has taken place. On 21/10/2024 Honorable High Court observed that there are fraudulent activities happened and said in the judgment ” The petitioner when entrusted with a job, has taken 1.25 crores, which is not a pittance. Therefore it needs investigation in the least, as to why the petitioner has done a shaddy job, notwithstanding huge sums of money being transferred./” The Honorable High Court finally dismissed the case by dissolving the interim order granted earlier.
