KRUTRIM Unveils Kruti, India’s First Agentic AI Assistant

Bengaluru, June 12, 2025 – In a significant leap forward for artificial intelligence in India, Bengaluru-based AI startup KRUTRIM has launched Kruti, the country’s first agentic AI assistant. Unlike conventional chatbots, Kruti is designed to actively execute tasks, aiming to redefine the way users engage with technology.

Billed as a major upgrade from KRUTRIM’s earlier beta version, Kruti brings a completely revamped user experience, combining advanced reasoning, memory, and personalization. The assistant can handle a wide range of everyday tasks such as booking cabs, ordering food, paying bills, generating images, and conducting deep research—all through simple voice or text commands.

Kruti supports input in 13 Indian languages, and can deliver responses in a format suited to user preferences, including tone and length. It also features read-aloud capabilities, making it more inclusive and accessible. Powered by the company’s proprietary KRUTRIM Unveils Kruti, India’s First Agentic AI Assistant V2 large language model along with open-source technologies, Kruti is optimized for India’s multilingual, mobile-first user base.

Importantly, features like image generation and research tools are being offered free of cost, with KRUTRIM emphasizing its commitment to democratizing AI access across the country.

KRUTRIM’s vision with Kruti is to build an AI that doesn’t just converse but truly assists,” said Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder of KRUTRIM Unveils Kruti, India’s First Agentic AI Assistant. “It’s intuitive, deeply personalized, and designed with how Indians use technology in mind.”

Kruti also integrates with third-party platforms via an embeddable SDK, allowing developers to easily offload tasks such as memory management and large language model orchestration. Its personalized approach learns from user behavior over time, reducing the need for micromanagement and eliminating the fatigue of switching between apps.

With this launch, KRUTRIM sets a new benchmark for intelligent, action-oriented AI in India—one that’s accessible, localised, and built for everyday life.
