LuLu Funtura Bengaluru Celebrates Young Culinary Talent at the 4th Edition of Little Chef Competition

Bengaluru, February 23, 2026: The vibrant atmosphere at LuLu Mall, Rajajinagar came alive with excitement, creativity, and youthful enthusiasm as LuLu Funtura hosted the grand finale of the 4th Edition of the Little Chef Competition 2026. Designed as a nurturing platform for budding culinary enthusiasts, the event showcased the remarkable skills of children passionate about cooking.

Open to participants aged between 8 and 15 years, the competition drew an impressive response with more than 300 young chefs stepping forward to demonstrate their gastronomic flair. Following multiple rounds of auditions and eliminations, 20 semi-finalists advanced, culminating in a highly competitive grand finale featuring the top 10 finalists – Nirvee Ashish, Kaira Jain, Sai Preetham D., Sumaiyah Shaikh, Nandakishan, Ahmed, Mayukh Nagaraju, Himanya, Kushal P., and Gyaan S. Kottari.

In the presence of proud parents and an esteemed judging panel comprising MasterChef India fame Mohammed Ashiq, Archana B.H., Varghese Thomas, and Chef Nanda Kumar, the finalists presented an impressive spectrum of dishes. From innovative starters to indulgent desserts, each creation reflected cultural diversity, originality, and a keen understanding of flavors and presentation.

Sai Preetham stood out with exceptional creativity, technique, and confidence, earning the coveted Little Chef title along with a trophy, certificate, and a cash prize of ₹50,000. Gyaan S. Kottari secured the first runner-up position with a cash prize of ₹25,000, while Mayukh Nagaraju was awarded the second runner-up title and a cash prize of ₹10,000.

Beyond competition, the initiative aimed to instill valuable life skills among children-encouraging responsibility, independence, and healthy lifestyle habits through the engaging medium of cooking.

Expressing his delight, Mohammed Ashiq shared that platforms like these play a vital role in discovering hidden culinary talent among children while nurturing their confidence and creativity. He noted that mentoring young chefs and guiding them toward exploring culinary careers is both meaningful and inspiring.
