Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, Bengaluru “Presents IKYA-2018”

Bengaluru, 24th Oct, 2018:

Nagajuna College of Engineering & Technology was established by Nagarjuna Education Society and supported by Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd. The college is situated on a sprawling campus of around 100 acres with the state-of-the-art facilities. It is well connected by road to all major places of Karnataka & is around 12 kms from Bengaluru International Airport.

The college runs 5 Engineering branches & 6 PG courses – MBA & M.Tech, and Doctoral Program in 7 departments. Over a period of 18 years, the college has undergone a good transformation under the able leadership of Sri. J. V. Rangaraju, Chairman, NES and Mr. Chaitanya Varma, Secretary, NES.

IKYA is an Intercollegiate cultural fest to showcase the talents of engineering students in the field of music, dance and other art forms. The college encourages the students to actively participate in co-curricular activities. The college is organizing IKYA 2018, on 26th & 27th of October 2018. The theme for this year is FIESTA.

This year, IKYA has managed to mark yet another milestone, making the fest get bigger, better. This is being held in one of the prime locations in Bangalore i.e. Manpho Convention Centre, which is next to Manyata Tech Park. This year we are expecting an approximate footfall of 10,000 students to particaipate and witness the events.


Day 1- 26 October 2018 – Nagarjuna Degree College, Yelahanka, Bengaluru

Day 2- 27 October 2018- Manpho Conven>”nn Centre, Nagavara, Bengaluru

Most importantly the South Indian Super star Mr. Allu Arjun (Tollywood actor) and famous Sandalwood Star Mr. Ramesh Aravind (Actor & Film maker) will be gracing the occasion. Sri. J V Ranga Raju, Chairman NES, Mrs. Sridevi Ranga Raju, Founder Member, NES, Mr. J Chaitanya Varma, Secretary, NES, Mrs. Bhanu Chaitanya, Member, NES and Ms. Soujanya, Joint Secretary, NES will grace the function. Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, Director, NES, will preside over the function.

They expect enthusiastic participation from 100+ engineering and other degree colleges across Bengaluru. More than 10,000 students are expected, to witness the event. IKYA-2018 will prove to be a productive platform for the students to showcase their talents in more than 30 events like Battle of Bands, Fashion show, DJ Lost stories. Mock Rock, Mad-ads, Group Dance, Face Painting, etc.,
