omes the new pet paradise as ‘Pet Fed’ comes to town

India’s biggest pet festival to be held in Bangalore this weekend

Bangalore, 28th November, 2018: Pet Fed, India’s biggest pet festival, has finally arrived to Bengaluru, with its first edition to be held from 1st to 2nd December, 2018 at Manpho Grounds, near Manyata Tech Park. With this, Pet Fed aims to give pet parents and pet lovers, a unique opportunity to spend a quality weekend with our furry friends.

Spread over 3 acres of area, the festival will witness numerous activities ranging from Security Dog Show, Discover Dogs Zone, Fashion Show and a dedicated Cat Zone to Off Leash Area, Dog Agility, Play Area and Temptation Alley. Pet owners will also get to explore innovations in pet care, in the form of products and services from across India and abroad. The festival is open for people who don’t have pets too, they can come and be around thousands of furry friends and get lots of puppy love.

Speaking on the occasion, Akshay Gupta, Founder, Pet Fed mentioned, “We are excited to bring the biggest pet festival to Bengaluru and are enthralled to see the excitement. Our pets give their entire lives to us, it’s time we give them these two days. So, our main goal is to ensure that the pets enjoy themselves thoroughly. As always, we want to encourage adoption of Indie pets and in order to push that, the entry for the people coming with Indie pets will be completely free.”

“It’s always a great experience to address the young and enthusiastic crowd in Bengaluru. With pets from across the city being around, I’m positive it is going to be an even better experience. Pet Fed’s larger than life ambience will make you forget all your worries and consume you into the love for pets that we all live for”, commented Dino Morea, Bollywood celebrity and entrepreneur, who is also an investor in Pet Fed.

Highlights of the festival:

1. Discover Dogs (More than 50 different Dogs with Desis as well) – This is done to fire fight one of the major problems in India – limited knowledge about different dog breeds and their needs. We want people to keep in mind various factors, while they decide to keep a pet like climate, food, prescribed area needed for dogs to run around etc

2. Cat Zone – Cats are agile beings and very self-sufficient. However, if domesticated, we restrict them from their potential to climb and have their kind of fun. At the cat zones, we keep cat trees and toys to ensure all cats have a fun time. We also cat-proof the area for their safety along with lots of activities for them to participate in

3. Adoption Camps – One of our major goals is to promote the cause of #AdoptDontShop. To push that, we have tied up with various NGOs including CUPA, CARE and more which will be having pets for adoption at the festival

4. Security Dog Show – We set up a demo show at the festival by security dogs. A security dog is specially trained to alert you of trouble and to prevent suspicious and criminal activity through fierce barking. If an offender does enter your property, fully trained protection dogs may disable the offender, on their own or on command

5. Fashion Show –This is a fun activity where the human and their pets walk down the ramp, strutting down in style. And the show stopper will walk the ramp with the actor Dino Morea

6. Shopping & More – With over 120 brands from across India and abroad, pet owners will get to indulge in the best of products and services which they usually would not be aware of

The entire schedule of the festival is up on our website www.petfed.org and the tickets are available on BookMyShow.
