The Election Commission of India has made it clear that movement of unaccounted cashand other valuables generally affect the election process and the responsibility of tracking these kinds of unaccounted cash and other valuables is given to the Income-tax Department.
In this Connection, the Department has set up 24 x 7 control room in Bangalore to receive such kind of complaint from general public and other agencies of Karnataka.
