CASE Construction Equipment, a brand of CNH Industrial was announced the winner of the Best design – Safety Award for its 1110EX Soil Compactor at the Equipment Times Yellow Dot Awards 2019. Mr. Puneet Vidyarthi, Brand Leader, CASE India received the award on behalf of company from Prof. M N Sreehari, Advisor, Government of Karnataka on Traffic, Infrastructure and Inland waters. This is the second consecutive year that CASE is being awarded with a best design award at the Yellow Dot Awards for its Compactor range. This awards coincides with our celebration of 30 years in India.
Yellow Dot Awards were presented last night at Golden Palms Hotel during the ongoing 10th International Construction Equipment and Construction Technology Trade Fair – CII EXCON 2019. At this event, CASE is showcasing its entire range of equipment designed for urban construction, road building, infrastructure projects, mining, and other general construction applications. The equipment range includes- Excavators, Loader Backhoes, Soil Compactors, Tandem Compactors, Crawler Dozers, Motor Graders, and Skid Steer Loaders.

Instituted by Equipment Times, the Yellow Dot Awards is an industry benchmark for recognizing and honoring the innovative design of equipment and machinery by the Original Equipment Manufacturers and Component & Aggregate manufacturers. The jury for the 2nd Edition of the Yellow Dot Award included CEO of Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council (IESC), sector experts, independent consultants, industry leaders and academia.
The award-winning 1110EX Soil Compactor
CASE 1110 EX soil compactor is a versatile machine which comes with a new-generation FPT Industrial S8000 engine that delivers up to 110 HP at 2300 rpm and torque of 430 Nm at 1400 rpm. The maximum applied force in the range of 34 tonnes is among the best in the industry.
The soil compactor also features a turbocharged after cooled engine with an internal Exhaust Gas Recirculation system for ensuring best-in-class fuel economy. The maximum applied force of the soil compactor is in the range of 34 tonnes, which is regarded as the best in industry. Moving a step ahead of the curve, the machine includes a ROPS/FOPS HVAC cabin, which ensures operator’s comfort and safety in mind. Additionally, the optimised HVAC Cabin gives an excellent front and rear drum/nozzle visibility, making the drive and compaction process easier and safer. Machine is fit for mining application and is available in two variants -Drum Drive and Pad Foot Drum.
