Café Natural – The oldest millet café of Bengaluru stepped up to announce year-long celebrations in view of the IYOM announced by UN at the behest of Indian Government. Announcing the year-long celebration at Café Natural – Founder -Owner Mr. Ramamurthy said “We have been the pioneering advocates of Millet products and preparations especially in continental cuisine like pasta, sandwich, cakes, cookies and more since 2015. Most of our 40+ dishes and 80+ products are millet based with No Maida, No Sugar or Artificial preservative. We intend to deep dive into food innovation and work with the COE incubation center to offer multi cuisine millet preparations to include millets on every table and in every diet.”
Excited at the journey of exploring a new brand language of taste and form for millets; along with CAFÉ Natural,Mr. Krishna Byre Gowda flagged of the yearlong celebration with a food tasting session of a new menu at the café.
The menu has gourmet dishes and traditional recipes with Millet base and open for all to taste on the first weekend at Café Natural. Join in to uncover this high protein, high fiber, super food in formats you will love more like yummy cakes, delicious cookies, favorite pasta and more.The café intend to celebrate with a new product innovation with millet base every month and invites all people interested in health and millet nutrition to try its 80+ strong product range and imbibe the tasty healthy benefits into their daily lives.
The Café has curated Millet Pasta with over 50 % millet content along with government incubation agencies. Different Millet Pasta recipe other than the continental favourite like white and red sauce to suit Indian palatte will be available. “We intend to create interesting combinations and new innovations while collaborating with known and amateur chefs all round the year” reiterates Mr. Ramamurthy Founder Cafe Natural To help people understand the value and benefits of this super food café natural offers free nutrition consultancy by a professional qualified diet consultant at the café every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. Plans are on to collaborate with academia to instill the versatility of this nutri-cereal and involve them in building both awareness and new products to meet the youth palette. Similar robust collaborations to build awareness for Millets across stakeholders will be revealed soon.
