Café Natural – The oldest millet café of Bengaluru stepped up to announce year-long celebrations in view of the IYOM announced by UN at the behest of Indian Government. Announcing the year-long celebration at Café Natural – Founder -Owner Mr. Ramamurthy said “We have been the pioneering advocates of Millet products and preparations especially in continental cuisine like pasta, sandwich, cakes, cookies and more since 2015. Most of our 40+ dishes and 80+ products are millet based with No Maida, No Sugar or Artificial preservative. We intend to deep dive into food innovation and work with the COE incubation center to offer multi cuisine millet preparations to include millets on every table and in every diet.”

Indian Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology – Karnataka State Chapter (ISVIR KAR) today launched its two day workshop CIRCON – 2023 – Clinical Interventional Radiology Conference 2023, at the Radisson Blu Atria, 1, Palace Rd, Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru. This workshop introduces the latest technology in the field of Vascular & Interventional Radiology to professionals and students.     

“Interventional Radiology” (IR) is a super-specialty amongst medical specialties. This is a specialised field in radiology where image guidance, such as X-rays, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are used to perform a wide range of minimally invasive procedures, they are advanced treatment mainly for Uterine Fibroid (without removing uterus), enlarged prostate (without catheter, day care), varicose vein(under local anesthesia), thyroid nodule (without neck scar), liver cancer (without surgery),  peripheral arterial diseases (angioplasty) and many more.      

Speaking on the occasion Dr Reddi Prasad – President, ISVIR KAR said “Interventional Radiology is an innovative and modern method in treating both benign disease and cancer, through minimal access. Hence we play a central role in managing all patients. With the technological advances, innovations and the currently available armamentarium; interventional radiology procedures have become the first option in treating many conditions. IRs perform procedures through a tiny incision and this is termed as “pin-hole’’ as opposed to key hole or open surgery”.

ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ ಆಫ್ ವಾಸ್ಕುಲರ್ & ಇಂಟರ್ವೆನ್ನನಲ್ ರೇಡಿಯಾಲಜಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ (ISVIR KAR) ಇಂದು ತನ್ನ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು CIRCON – 2023 – ಕ್ಲಿನಿಕಲ್ ಇಂಟರ್ವೆನ್ಸನಲ್ ರೇಡಿಯಾಲಜಿ ಕಾನ್ಸರೆನ್ಸ್ 2023 ಅನ್ನು ರಾಡಿಸನ್ ಬ್ಲೂ ಆಟ್ರಿಯಾ, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಅರಮನೆ ರಸ್ತೆ, ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ವೀಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ತಲೆಮಾರಿನ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಟರ್ವೆನ್ಸನಲ್ ರೇಡಿಯಾಲಜಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

“ಇಂಟರ್ವೆನ್ನನಲ್ ರೇಡಿಯಾಲಜಿ” (IR) ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸೂಪರ್-ಸ್ಪೆಷಾಲಿಟಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಕಿರಣಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, X- ಕಿರಣಗಳು, ಆಲ್ವಾಸೌಂಡ್, ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟೆಡ್ ಟೊಮೊಗ್ರಫಿ (CT) ಮತ್ತು ಮ್ಯಾಗ್ನೆಟಿಕ್ ರೆಸೋನೆನ್ಸ್ ಇಮೇಜಿಂಗ್ (MRI) ನಂತಹ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೇಣಿಯ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಅವುಗಳು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಗರ್ಭಾಶಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಫೈಬ್ರಾಯ್ಡ್ (ಗರ್ಭಾಶಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕದೆ), ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ಟೇಟ್ (ಕ್ಯಾತಿಟರ್ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ, ಡೇ ಕೇರ್), ಉಬ್ಬಿರುವ ರಕ್ತನಾಳ (ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅರಿವಳಿಕೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ), ಥೈರಾಯ್ಡ್ ಗಂಟು (ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ಗುರುತು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ), ಯಕೃತ್ತಿನ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ (ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ), ಬಾಹ್ಯ ಅಪಧಮನಿಯ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳು (ಆಂಜಿಯೋಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ISVIR KAR ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಇಂಟರ್ವೆನಲ್ ರೇಡಿಯಾಲಜಿಯು ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಪ್ರವೇಶದ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಾನಿಕರವಲ್ಲದ ಕಾಯಿಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಎರಡಕ್ಕೂ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ ಒಂದು ನವೀನ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧುನಿಕ ವಿಧಾನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗಳು, ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಿಕೆಯ ವಿಕಿರಣಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಕಾರ್ಯವಿಧಾನಗಳು ಅನೇಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಐಆರ್‌ಗಳು ಸಣ್ಣ ಛೇದನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೀ ಹೋಲ್ ಅಥವಾ ತೆರೆದ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ “ಪಿನ್-ಹೋಲ್” ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ISVIR KAR ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಡಾ.ರೋಹಿತ್ ಮಧುರ್ಕರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಇಂಟರ್ವೆನ್ನನಲ್‌ ರೇಡಿಯಾಲಜಿ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ, ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಳ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲು ವರದಾನವಾಗಿದೆ. ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳೆಂದರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಗಾಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ರಕ್ತ ನಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಡಿಮೆ ನೋವು, ಸೋಂಕುಗಳು ಅಪರೂಪ, ಆರಂಭಿಕ ವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಪುನರಾರಂಭ, ರೋಗಿಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಟರ್ವೆನ್ನನಲ್ ರೇಡಿಯಾಲಜಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಅವಕಾಶವಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯವು ಉಜ್ವಲವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಜನವರಿ 4 ರಂದು ರವೀಂದ್ರ ಕಲಾಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ “ಹುಲಿಕಲ್ ನಟರಾಜ್ ಅವರ ಕುರಿತಾದ “ಹುಲಿಹೆಜ್ಜೆ” ಅಭಿನಂದನ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಶ್ರೀ.ವೀರಭದ್ರ ಚನ್ನಮಲ್ಲ ದೇಶಿಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ಸಾನಿದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉಧ್ಘಾಟಣೆಯನ್ನು
ಡಾ.ಎ.ಎಸ್‌.ಕಿರಣ್‌ ಕುಮಾರ್ , ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಇಸ್ರೋ, ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಗೌರವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು , ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಉಧ್ಘಾಟನಾ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಡಾ.ಎ.ಎಸ್‌.ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನುಡಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಹುಲಿಕಲ್‌ ನಟರಾಜ್ 60ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಡಾ.ಟಿ.ಎಸ್. ನಾಗಾಭರಣ, ನಿಕಟಪೂರ್ವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ
ಟೀಸರ್ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಮಾನ್ಯ, ಎನ್. ಸಂತೋಷ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ, ಮಾಜಿ ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತರು ಹುಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಡಾ. ಕುಂ, ವೀರಭದ್ರಪ್ಪ, ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳು ಗ್ರಂಥ ಕುರಿತು ನುಡಿದರು.

ಡಾ ಸಿ. ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್‌ ಐ.ಎ.ಎಸ್, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಗಡಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ , ರವರಿಂದ ಹುಲಿಕಲ್ ನಟರಾಜ್ ಅಭಿನಚಿದನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನೇಕ ಗಣ್ಣ್ಯರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ರಂಗೇರಿಸಿದರು.

ಹುಲಿಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಸಂಪಾದಕ ವಿ.ಟಿ.ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾದ ಡಾ.ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಕೆ.ಜೆ.ರಾವ್‌, ಹಂಪಿಕೆರೆ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ, ಇರ್ಷಾದ್ ಅಹಮದ್, ಡಾ.ಆನಂದಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ, ಬಿ.ಡಿ.ರವಿಕುಮಾರ್, ಬಿ.ಸುರೇಶ್, ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತರು, ಡಾ.ಹುಲಿಕಲ್ ನಟರಾಜ್ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.
